I have read this story from start to its current finish over the course of the past few weeks. Even while reading other interesting, published works at the same time, this story by far has held me captivated the most. What an excellent, realistic work! Your characters are all beloved--even the bad ones--simply because of their realism, and the story itself is also so extreme and yet believable! I'm not quite sure how to put into words how much I enjoyed hearing about Brennan's tale, enduring with him along the way, rooting for him. I only hope you will continue writing into the future, and of course I will look forward to any continuations of this masterpiece! Excellent job, and keep on at it! This is one of those rare pieces that deserves to be published officially!

P.S. I would love to see Brennan and Jason meet up again!

I am not the same person I've been mere hours ago.

I really liked this chapter. I think it's the most exciting one since Brennan actually woke up, since it's kind of a change of pace from the hospital and now we can actually see Brennan go back to his old world. The hospital, though interesting and I can tell you did a lot of research about it, was more like limbo or something. I don't mean that in a bad way, I just read it as a transition period more than anything.

Stupid paparazzi! The Sullivan family has a major need for a barbed wire fence around the premises. lol I don't know what's typically done in a case like this, but Brennan told the police that Phil and Al have his home address, right? Even if we can identify that Phil and Al probably aren't going to risk breaking into his house in the middle of the night and stabbing/re-abducting him, I wouldn't imagine the police can, in good conscience, rely on that assumption? Not that they can feasibly have 24/7 police protection forever... though at this rate, the news crews would probably ward off any suspicious visitors by broadcasting everything on live TV or something and trying to get an interview. lol

Also, Phil, you are a douchebag. I'm not surprised, granted, but it makes me wonder what was going through Phil's head when he was carving Brennan up. Did he actually hate Brennan that much? I think you indicated once that there was possibly pressure from Richard to kill Brennan, and it may or may not have happened without Rich's influence. I know Phil is a sadist and gets his rocks off hurting Brennan, but carving "SLUT" seems like an attack on a different level. Well, I kind of got the feeling that Phil was also kind of losing it with the stress, jealousy and fear toward the end of that chapter, so both Phil and Al were kind of going off the deep end. Who knows. Wish we could see what they're up to now, and what they're thinking, but I suppose that's going to be in the dark for quite a while!

I'm excited to see what's next for Brennan, though. :) I assume he's not going to school this semester...? I guess he could take online classes to balance the security of home with being productive. I wonder also if we'll catch up with the introduction soon, with the point where Brennan keeps himself in the condo (instead of at his parents' home, which makes me wonder if at some point he'll stop thinking of the house as safe?). Thanks for writing!

I was so happy to check and see there was a new chapter. I'm enjoying the story very much. I look forward to the next chapter.

Great chapter! I love how this really showed how he is coping with being home or not coping. I can't wait for more.

I like how we are discovering everything that's happening to Brennan, alongside him.

I know it probably wouldn't be realistic, but I'd really love for Brennan and Jason to have a reunion.

Maddox, I should have known that Phil would have engraved something like that on Brennan's body without him knowing it! I really want to see the demise of Phil (and Rich) more than Al. Al needs to be put away but the others need to go out in a body bag!

I loved the whole scene with Brennan and his family.

Damn that Phil, didn't think he's carved words; must have had a personal resentment or jealousy. Al did like Brenan after all. You really keep surprising us every time. I wonder whose gonna heal his heart and soul. Can't wait. Thanks for the wonderful chapter. Its nice that Brenan is finally home.
