So, it was love at first smile, eh? The banter when he arrived was good, about the dragon and then the jokey thieving. The line “But...” He sopped and nodded. “I'm sorry.” which I guess was meant to be 'stopped' actually works pretty well because Taess is being kind of soppy there :)
So, does Keth actually have proper feelings for Taess, or does he just wait around for any attractive passing stranger, toss them a grin, and talk them into a shag? Taess's thoughts are clear with his perspective used in both parts, but all we see from Keth is the sweet talk he gives Taess, so I wondered if it was a possibility...
