Very interesting story so far. I am a little confused b/c Mac originally said Eric knows he could never have him the way he wants him (or something to that effect), but at the end of the chapter, he's getting what he wants. So, are they best friends w/benefits, or is Eric really in love with Mac?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next chapter. And btw: I don't think you need a beta; your writing is really good and I didn't notice any typos or grammatical errors. :)
