Yay!!!! an update. THANK YOU! I was so excited to see you updated this story. I absolutely love Nicky/Neko and Maqs, and even Wendy. I can't wait for them to go back to the Shambles and see Grim again. I was wondering if that girl the knocked out was going to show up again later. Interesting. Wonder how the wives thing is going to work out. Can't wait to read more (so please don't make us wait too long for another update? Pretty please?) Again, thanks so much all the hard work. It is appreciated.

I was so right about the Shawalle princess, thou, its rather rotten to treat your own family like that dude. You suck! What the heck sort of uncle ties and gags your niece and marries them off just like that! *wants to smack someone*

Great chapter. I absolutely LOVE King Ahio -- "I've yet to see a bull drop a calf." LOL, can't argue with that.
I look forward to your next update. While I can't wait to see Grim again, something tells me that removing that thing in Nicky's head is not going to be easy. Or pleasant.

I'm still getting caught up on the neko-laus series, but I have to tell you - I don't think you could ever write a bad or mediocre story. :) I love this series too - although the lord vampire emperor series shall always be my first love of your writings.
