I loved the chapter. Zyric and Rhyan together are priceless! Zyric is so funny and Rhyan so serious, and I loved reading more about them. They really need to find a solution to get out of their predicament, though, if only so that Rhyan doesn't end up killing Zyric out of sheer frustration... Could the fact that they now have Baisyl's medallion work in their favour?
Also, it's of course very nice to know more about the still mysterious Kedean and quite heart-breaking to see how both Kedean and Baisyl feel about leaving each other. And yes, you're quite the tease, because for once Baisyl had his original body back and they were definitely not lacking any desire. Although I understand how they may not want exhibitionist sex (at least Kedean) because they are still supposed to be wanted men after all. I'll do look forward to their next opportunity, though. :)
But when will that be? Won't they be living even more dangerously now that they are in Carthak and closer to the enemy? I was wondering too: shouldn't Baisyl's mother try and help more to save her son(s)? She should have ways to locate Baisyl, at least, right?
Last but not least: Happy belated birthday!

Great chapter, and the emotional development definitely satisfied! I actually wouldn't mind the het sex either, because I also think of Baisyl as more male than female, from his attitude, his discomfort in this body, his name and the fact that Kedean always calls him milord and sees him as male... Well done for conveying that successfully because he's been in a female body (and a very hot one at that) the majority of the story! Also, there's always this ominous prophecy at the back of my mind that says that they'll have a child together. It's a bit bittersweet because as much as I would love for them to start a family together, I don't want that prophecy to be true because of what it implies concerning the death of a certain someone... Don't kill off the cuties (= Zyric and Rhyan), please!
By the way, I loved Baisyl admitting his feelings to Kedean and their hot snog as a consequence because Kedean has been such a tease lately! And I don't want to think about them parting ways in the future, no matter how different they are, because they have such a special and unique bond that it feels as if they'll never find it again with someone else.
Now I'm afraid to know what the next chapter will involve for the cuties, but I also look forward to seeing them again and, of course, to the promised hot (and rainy?) man sex between Baisyl and Kedean (= the hotties). :)

Usually I'm not a fan of het, especially in my slash stories, but I find myself not at all bothered by the prospect of het!Baisyl/Kedean. Baisyl is just such an adorably snarky character that in either male or female form I love him to pieces. And the UST between those two is KILLING me! man or woman they need to get it on. It's also kinda endearing when Baisyl's out of his element

I liked the chapter. :) It's always fun to watch Baisyl and Kedean interact, particularly when they are bantering. I liked Kedean being protective and wondering about kissing Baisyl, who is quite funny when his education comes through. I hope, though, that next chapter doesn't involve someone's brother's death... (please?)

What? Boring? Never!!! Sometimes the best scenes are simple repartee... You learn so much about the characters emotional dynamics. This chapter was wonderful!! Baisyl "queening out" and almost falling into a hole was hilarious.

We don't always need action in a story, sometimes a pause can be most entertaining and even telling. Also I enjoy reading about sweet snotty Bas acting prissy LOL! G
