It's a neat twist to think that the God of Dreams would take revenge in the real world for not being appreciated in his. He does quite a bit of damage for someone who can't even step on the ground.
Trying to get through the thicket of names was a bit tough though. I almost had to draw a diagram to figure out the who and what of each piece about the waking world.

Good use of repitition, works well with the theme of history repeating itself. Very good way to directly use the prompt as well!

Very nice mix of the historical aspects with the mythological! I think you gave Morpheus a good personality as well considering that most people are not aware of the role that he played in the Parthenon.
