Can I just say a huge "Thank you!" for continuing this story, and Merry Whatever You Celebrate. I know Muffin took a lot of work and I loved it, but that ending was heartbreaking.

Oh noes. When Matthew messes up, he really messes up. I'm glad you didn't just have Asher forgive him like some fairy tale.

Muffin/Matthew's a total headcase with the drugs and OCD. Makes sense.

Can't wait to see Matthew reunited with Vincenzo and/or Asher, although I'm sure he's in for a world of awful. Also can't wait to see what's up with the little girl. It's like Matthew's come full circle ... he has the opportunity to help a (motherless?) child like himself.

So glad you're continuing the story! I can't wait to see what's in store of Asher and Matthew!

Omg! I am like so seriously happy right now!!! What an awesome Xmas gift, (even if I don't celebrate Xmas! haha). A sequel!!! I love Muffin so much, err, sorry, Matthew so much; I'm so excited to read about the next chapter in his life. Even if it's w/o Asher (pout, pout).

I am kind of mad at Asher (it's been what 4 years) and he still hasn't figured out why Muffin now Matthew (betrayed) him. Come on Asher, you are suppose to be smart. I am wondering who the little girl is? hmmmm

I'll be honest, I never thought there'd be a sequel! The somewhat anticlimactic ending of Muffin led me to believe that you were suffering from writer's block on the story and rushed the ending, leaving lots of unaswered questions, and that you had no intention of ever returning to it, that maybe you were destined to become one of those authors who eventually, ashamadly, take down their unfinished stories altogether (ie Me). But I am so happy to be proven wrong! I really hope you update soon because I'd love to know who's on the other side of that door. I'm very much hoping it's Vincenzo (Ashley's mention of the guy she fancies with the limp made me think of him too) because he's pretty much my favourite character and I was rooting for a VincenzoxMuffin moment all through the first part. Alas, there was nary more than a hug, and I have no idea where you're taking this romance-wise (if anywhere) but I'm kinda liking the unpredictability, since most of the stuff I've read online is very, well, predictable, with inevitably happy endings and overly romantic, predictable characters. Also, I just want to mention, I noticed your writing has improved. Maybe it's just me, but compared to the first chapters of Muffin, the writing here is a lot more eloquent.

Umm, what else. I'm not really part of the online slash world anymore; the many stories I used to follow obsessively are either finished (ie Muffin :P), abandoned (ie AmuseMe's Crappy Predicament) or update so infrequently that I've lost all hope (ie Munez's Dandruff) and, rather irrelevently, I've been a bit addicted to reading m/m slash daily rather than actual books, so that I feel I've become more stupid and now have a 'slasher mentality' in which I always have high expectations for happy endings and romantic characters in real-life literature (which is generally not the reality) - but THE POINT IS, I hope you update regularly so that I can still cling onto Matthew's story. I love Muffin very much.

And that opening scene was perfect in every way, by the way. Asher is still obsessed.
