As I was rereadin, I found a mistake hehe. In the beginning, you say he has a 'house' but later, you verify its apartment. Also, when someone talks directly to someone using their name, a comma goes in front of the name. You can look this up online if desired. "Hey Ashley" IS
"Hey, Ashley" ANyway, love this and u heheh

Contrary to other reviewers, I actually think the ending of Muffin is PERFECT. It's really one of those endings that makes that story so special and less predictable, so thank you, thank you A LOT for breaking the rules and breathing in some fresh air in the world of original slash. That said, I'm very excited about its sequel and will be following it as cheerfully as I followed Muffin.

By the way, have you ever considered editing and publishing Muffin? In my long fangirly life, I've read a lot of published slash authors and many of them can't even get close to writing memorable characters like yours. Muffin/Mathew is one of those rare cases of uke protagonists who are actually sympathetic and likable without veering into Mary Sueish waters. I have to admit I love the crazy kid to small pieces. Your side characters are also very well developed and tend to steal the show now and then, which is what good side characters are supposed to do. Sure, Ash remains a bit archetypal through most of the story, but I get that's because from Muffin's POV he is the ultimate mystery. Maybe the sequel will give you opportunity to flesh him out further? That would be awesome.

Anyway, I just wanted to drop by and tell you how much Muffin (and now Mathew) have made me happy and kept me awake at unholy hours. I hope you enjoy writing this sequel as much as I enjoy will reading it. You are very talented, smart and awesome and I'm glad there are people like you in this world.

I had strong feeling that the title was going to be Matthew. I'm going to guess that it was what the title was going to be for the sequel since the beginning, only because it is most fitting.

Anyway -- onto recent events. So Matthew must be finally legal, eh? He must be in his early-twenties... I don't exactly remember his true age during "Muffin" being revealed. However, right now I really want to know who the heck this kid is! Anything could have happened in the span of four years, and not many people know about Matthew whereabouts but then again, anything could have been found out in four years time.
