Girl! You are killing me with your cliffhangers. What an emotional mudslide this day has been for Matthew...I realize that caging painful memories and realities is common for trauma victims but it is only a temporary fix..eventually, given the right stim, the walls will all come crumbling down. I'm not sure Matthew is ready for his walls to collapse and I'm damn sure he's not ready to tangle with a truly peeved Pickett. I'm very glad Vincenzo is there help him and I seriously hope Alrick is waiting in the apt... Yeah! German guy!!
Keep writing...keep writing... I'm dreading the slowdown that will occur when the holidays are over and classes begin *sob*
As usual your writing is superb!

If you give me more chapters I shall give you reviews. This time I bet on our friend the doctor, Can't be Asher, can't be Alrick, so since it's someone Matthew knows I vote for good old Daniel.
I can't make my mind as to wether I like Matthew better with Vincenzo or Asher. Vincenzo had his own charm. Yes he's a little grumpy and bitter but he also has a sense of humor and is strangely kind in his own way. I like him a lot. Asher is almost too smooth, too slick a character. I really want to know what you have concocted for us this time around.

In a review above, Menwenn stated that she had a soft spot for Vincenzo and could see him in a relationship with Matthew. It made me think... they do have a nice chemistry and have been through lots of "interesting" incidents together...and "Muffin" owes his life to "Mario"...but a relationship with Vincenzo would be the "safe and easy" thing to do and when has "Muffin" ever done anything "safe and easy". Asher needs Matthew to be complete. Yeah Asher's slick and controlling but Matty brings out the beautiful, vulnerable side of him... challenges him, confuses him, makes him care. Matthew is the emotional "puzzle piece" thats missing from Asher's psyche... okay that's a bit overboard but really they are stunning together. I realize that at this time Pickett is pissed to the max and to get through to him, Matthew is going to need the help of all his "friends" (even Daniel, Oops forgot about him)... and what a wild ride that is going to be. *Sorry if this rambles but I'm 1/2 awake*

This story is so super-fantastically wonderful! A-a-ahhhhhh! Yeah, that was basically my reaction when I happened to see this on the updates page. I almost missed it too! D: Anyway, I think the familiar face at the door is Alrick... but now the prologue confuses me... so idk... And I love the extra 'oomf!' this sequel has. I loved your writing in Muffin, but I love your more mature writing in this even more! I can already tell the angst will be more intense! Btw I love/hate your cliffhangers. T_T haha

Few more questions. In ch. 25 of Muffin who EXACTLY did Mario want Matthew to run away from when he said to move far away...at the time, I was assumin Carter. But now, i realiz he could have been talking bout Carter, the police and Asher. So he tried to protect him from ASHER? I didn't realize that at the time till now really...also, can you tell me or let us know sometime what Fother language Asher was talking with Alrick and Vincenzo?

Wow, now that's one great Xmas gift ! Thank you, merci beaucoup, domo arigatou !!! I give you my eternal devotion in exchange. Merry Xmas !
About the story, I'll sound all freaky girly but your story does deserve a "KYAAAAAAH" !!!!! 'Muffin' was greatissime, and 'Matthew' is already taking the same path. I'm so glad you're writing the sequel, because it just couldn't end like that ! (no way, no way) ... And the killer cliffhanghers are back, i definitively didn't miss them. But i'll just drool out of frustration and pray for more (chapters). I want to ask you a lot of questions but i'm not sure i want to know the answers.
Now for the titles, i wonder how many you'll find with a "matt-" ... My undersexed brain already imagine the "matt-ress". :)
I like the change of scenery to France. If you ever need some expressions, French is my first language. Don't hesitate !
I would gladly stick you in front of your computer but i know the need to relax so have fun for these holidays ! Bisous.

I had actually forgotten the pain of your cliffhangers until now, when it hit me full force once more... oh lord may you have a LOT of free time... YOu have an amazing writing-style and I find myself not TRUSTING what I'm reading, because it's so expertly out of first perosn's pov... like... oh, okay, the running in the rain by the end, for example; I got all tense, because I had no idea if Vin had decided to run because it was raining, or because he had seen somethng Matt hadn't... err... does it make any sense? It's like Matthew is living so much in his own head, he (and therefore we) often dosen't see the danger until it's too late... like having the camera zoomed in on a person's face in a movie, when you have no idea what is happeing off screen... any way it's brilliant and makes my heart race, even in "calmer" scenes... and then you add the cliff-hangers to really make the kill... -sigh- they better have AFF in the after-life....

Ohohoho!!! I'm so so glad that there is a sequel to Muffins story. Really really glad. I only found the Muffin story last night and started reading it, and I couldn't stop until I'd finished it...and then almost went to stalk you and demand a sequel. But yay, you spared me the trouble of that.I hope you never stop updating, I'm gonna stalk this fiction so loyally >_>, I absolutely love your plot, it's so wonderfully detailed and captivating. And your writing style is wonderful, it makes me laugh..and cry..and laugh while crying..and it's never predictable, never once did I read and go " oh I SO knew that was gonna happen" *fangirls in your review bit* You mix the emotions so well, giving us a dose of everything . It's wonderful , and I feel like I can FEEL what Muffin feels ;_; *sounds so cheesy *But I really do love this story, and I'm going to be it's loyal stalker..I mean reader from now on.
