You know, thats not a nice move of you, first ending the chap with the evilevilevilest cliffhanger and then stating randomly 'oh yeah btw the next chapter won't be out for a while'.......sadist *mumbles*

Whatever, though I think I never reviewed, I read Muffin and Matthew like the rest of all the BL fiction addicted leechers out there who are too lazy to drop a word haha. I have to admit that all the chapters of Matthew up till this point felt like some kind of never ending prologue to me. Nevermind me though, I'm just one of many in the Asher fraction. Sure I liked the sweetish romance between Vincenzo and Matthew but well, I just couldn't wait for Asher and Matthew to meet again and for all the old issues and unresolved conflicts (and death wishes) to turn the story into an industrial sized inferno. These two just hit it off, whether they hate and want to murder each other or hate and fuck each other or not so hate (maybe even like) each other and share weird affections (lol). So yeah, for me it feels like "finally back to the main point". And I'm drooling over the ensuing drama *_*........
But hey, it's not as if Vincenzo doesn't have his uses, I mean his cute infatuation with Matthew could add the cherry to the cake to a conflict of unknown magnitude in A's and M's complicated relationship, or whatever it is. And it will also challenge Vincenzo's loyalties.

I'm finishing this review/blabbering/ramble by joining in into the general chorus you seem to be so fond of: ASHER IS BETTAH! (but he really is *snicker*) But I'm exciting to see who wins! (To Vincenzo *whispers*: My loyalty is bribable lol......joke)

The Asher fan in me bristles at this chapter. Thank you for the update.

In Muffin you gave us hints of a Muffin/Vince. Not a lot, just enough to tantalize the senses and make me ponder, and hope, about the pair getting together. And while I do love Asher, I was more intrigued by the glimpse of Vince as a possible love interest for Muffin. Now in Matthew, I am now 100% in favour of a Matthew/Vince ending. Their chemistry is amazing and their love/hate arguments (oftentimes childish tantrums they evoke from each other) are so endearing that I can't help but go awww. Vincenzo is as scarred emotionally and mentally as he is scared physically. I just love that he hides behind his macho man/ jerk persona to hide his hurting but slowly and surely Matthew is breaking him down. He has hidden depths that I don't think half of your readers are willing to see.

I know Asher has depths but I'm not as eager to explore them. Asher is a great guy and all but he is too brooding, too mysterious and too standoffish. There comes a point when all the mystery stops being sexy and just plain annoying. Not that Vince isn't mysterious (I can tell there is a goldmine in this man's past since occasionally we get a glimpse), but his hasn't lost it's magic. Vince is real. Asher seems too over the top. But I am very intrigued by what he will be like now- vengeful. Asher hasn't lost all his sway with me. And now that we are going to be getting a look into his past, thoughts and deeds in this story (I'm pretty sure that that's what we will be exploring in this one, right?) I might jump back on the Asher bandwagon. Who knows.

I like that there are straight/bi people in your stories because in some others, everyone in the world magically turns gay and women are no more than things of myth. I like that you characters are real, meaning that they have flaws, that are relatable, and that they pretend that they don't. I like that you haven't reintroduced Asher as yet, not because I am rooting for Vince, but because it give the other characters a chance to shine and because it is a tease that I am enjoying as the suspense builds. I like that Matthew is having feelings for and even having sex with other people. When stories have the protagonist as pining away and saving themselves for 'the one' whom they don't even believe they will ever see again is annoying. People do, do that but when every story goes that way it becomes ridiculous since I'm sure not many people would be like that- especially after four years.

Sometimes I wish there could be a threesome to make everyone happy. I don't know how you would get the boys to agree to that though (but if you could that would be great lol). I do hope that if it is going to be an Asher ending, that Matty and Vinny do sleep with each other a couple of times first. Or if it is a Vince ending, Matty and Asher still hook up with each other a few times in the in-between. Leads to more drama and realism. Well, okay, I just want everyone to get some with each other really lol.

And please don't let any of our four guys die (Asher, Vincenzo, Alrick and Matthew). And let them be happy. I know that to some it may seem an unrealistic end but when every story (well every story in this type of mafia genre) ends in tragedy to distance themselves from the clichéd "happy ending", then that becomes a cliché in itself. People forget that happy endings DO exist in the real world. Even bad guys live out there lives happily sometimes. So don't disregard a happy ending if it is possible.

Now I know after saying all the above, you probably wont believe me when I say this but, write it the way you see it. Don't let us obsessive and slightly crazy (slightly? *snorts* lol) fans deter you from posting. We will love you no matter which way this story goes. I probably came off as if I'm telling you what to write, which I am NOT. I just wanted to point out my views on the whole who should end up together issue and some of the things I hope from the story. I just wanted to give you a reason for my preference rather than only declaring it and being done with it.

And now I'm going to stop writing because it feels like I just wrote a freaking essay on this story. Jeez. Sorry if I took up too much of your time.

Not to brag, but I totally called Ashley on the text ha. And now I'm calling symbolic storm. Anyway, this was a pleasure to read, as always, and yeah, you do need a little practice on the sweetness, that felt a little bit awakward. Still looking forward to the next chapter.

omg.soo i started reading Muffin at like eleven this morning and i just couldnt stop. i have no idea what happen in any of my classes today. like holy addictive. started on this one right after and ahhh i dont even know what to say. i love it. i love the way you write. u have some of the best imagery i have read in a long while. so big ups to that. anyways i looove that you have a love triangle going on with all them . i cant wait til asher is back in the picture. thats gonna be fuckin priceless. i can see it now. they are gonna kill each over some Muffin :) dont make us wait too long!!!

Omfg, has his Italian been pining for him all these years? Was he always jealous of Asher? Jesus; didn't see that one coming! I actually enjoy their banter back and forth; it's very amusing. But I'm still rooting for an Asher/Muffin reunion. Sorry Vinny!

So....what were Ashley, Rick and Ashley's new b/f doing in that club? I thought it was a gay club? Maybe I'm wrong.

I hope nothing happens to Vincenzo and Elena while they're in Rome. I hope they find Alrick and he can reunite with his daughter.

You know Mahsa, I had to go back and re-read the prologue, b/c of all your readers who think the coming storm has something to do with the rain from Muffin's phone call to Asher. So now I'm thinking, if they're right and this is when Asher is re-introduced in this story, did something happen to Leah? To Vincenzo? To Elena? Now I'm more intrigued than I was before! lol

Also, as Matthew put it (I think he asked this to his Italian): if Vincenzo and Elena could find him, why couldn't Asher? Especially if they were still working for him. I think that's when Vincenzo went a little nuts and got all jealous and told Matthew to stop talking about him. So yeah, if they could find Matthew, why couldn't Asher? Asher's been looking for him for all this time? It seems odd that his own employees found him, but he couldn't.

Anyway....can't wait for the next update! :) Oh, I also love the fluff! lol

The sweet and fluffy moments were perfect, imo. I wouldn't worry too much about fluffyness, Matthew has no angst-free moments! The scenes with Leah were too cute for words. I love the way she bullies him into compliance.

I'm totally giving this "Oliver" the side-eye. So he wants to meet Matthew, I'll bet he does. Yeah he might just be Ashley's boytoy, but I trust no one in this story.

"He grinned the moment he caught my gaze, a somewhat abashed look on his face—like he’d been caught doing something morally wrong". Awww, Vincenzo wanted to stare at his boy and tuck him in. Glad he finally spelled it out so even in-denial Matthew couldn't pretend he wasn't interested. Poor Vinny. He thinks he's got a good shot of charming his way into Matthew's pantaloons, since hello, Asher has been literally homicidal towards Matthew, so no way Matthew's going back with him.
Yes, you may have to assume a new identity or find a safehouse, if you upset Asher or Vincenzo hardcore fans, they don't mess around. At this point I'm leaning toward wanting him to be with Vincenzo, but I'll be happy if he returns to Asher too. It's your story and we shouldn't hijack it, lol.

"There was a storm coming." Oh no. Seriously, if that storm means The Bad Stuff is about to happen, I'm scurred. I hope he just needs Asher's help to rescue Alrick after Vincenzo and Elena report back, and he doesn't need help because Vincenzo or Elena are brutally tortured/missing/dead.

"So yeah, if they could find Matthew, why couldn't Asher?"

I think it makes sense that if anybody could find Matthew, it would be Vincenzo, because he was the only one who knew, or at least had a lead to, how he got out of the country. Asher wouldn't.

Me too. I'm wondering if they'll always be clueless civilians, or if they'll ever find out they've been friends with a fugitive.

This. But part of me wants Asher to get rejected, only because I feel sadistic to him, because he always acted so detached towards Matthew. But I'm sure that would involve Vincenzo getting chopped up in little pieces, so no.
