Ughhh I find it hard to watch sometimes how much of a fool Matt makes of himself. Poor thing. Nice though to see him grow up and at least TRY to... to do whatever it is that needs doing. I have a feeling that Asher is going to be completely easygoing and sociable with Matt's friends in the upcoming pub scene, which is something we haven't seen a lot of (except a little bit with the couple owning the diner), and it will drive Matt up the wall, and I look forward to it a lot. Both to seeing Asher that way and to Matt going nuts. ;P
I like plot just fine, especially now that Asher is part of it.
I read the other reviews; I hope people's fears of Asher just fucking with Matt are unfounded (I mean, obviously he IS fucking with Matt. You know what I mean). Also, I like Ashley just fine, aside from the fact that I'm always thinking, go away, pod people, I want to see Asher. :P
But yeah, Ashley may be a bit pushy and stuff, but maybe that's what Matt needs. He's always keeping people at a distance, he needs friends who will push past that.
And I didn't notice anything where I would have confused Ashley and Asher, so your tactic must have worked out.
One little thing, you wrote "I couldn't phantom", or something; assuming that wasn't intentional: the word is "fathom".

Oh my god, i was in such a bad mood today, but when i checked back for an update for the millionth time and saw a new chapter i exploded with joy. ASHERRRRRRR. YESSSSSSSSSS. update soon!!!!!!

Haha, so Asher is part of the gang now (I can't imagine a person like him in a bar)? I can't tell if Asher being around Matt almost 24/7 is going to make it harder or easier for Matt to make him fall in love with him.
I also haven't gotten too confused when I see Ashley or Asher's names, so whether your use of calling Asher by his last name helped, I can't really tell.

This is what makes you such an insanely good writer. Because this is exactly what people would think in a moment of panic, but every writer uses the same cliche. I needed a time out or I needed to get away.
Or the writer really DOES flash away and come back. But you pull something out like this, completely unique and so utterly perfect for the scenario. It's brilliant writing. Period.
- It wasn’t safe to stand so close to the wild animals.- *repeat what's said above* damn it's so appropos, this line.
-the herpes of my existence.- OH dear gawd *falls off chair laughing* best. line. EVER!
-I was quickly running out of reasons to hold my head up high around Asher Pickett.-
That's okay Matty, we all want your head very low. Very very low...
-My eyes immediately dropped beneath the weight of his backhanded insult.- the imagery of this ... I should just stop saying 'brilliant' and come up with a better word, but there really isn't a better word!
Personally, I love the plot. Well, I love the writing in general so it goes without saying that I love the plot.
Poor Asher won't have a chance if Matty figures out that all the things that drive Asher crazy, are what make him fall in love with Matty.

YAY another AWESOME chapter. I very much enjoy the interaction between Matt/Asher. I just luv where the plot is going at the moment, honestly. Not much criticism I can find since it's YOU :p I also like how you did not make Asher go all violent and stuf which is a plus! Please update soon if possible!

I do hope you plan to update again soon because I must know how this bar scene is going to go!! I love Asher and Matt and can't wait until Vincenzo makes his reappearance as well! Oh, and will Asher learn about Matt's little brothel trips? I somehow doubt he would be very pleased... ;)

Yay!!! You updated just when I was thinking about it. Lolz Now....where is Vincenzo? Asher is back and I'm just confused to where the story is going. o_O; I mean Asher is stalking Matt but what the heck did he wants? Is he secretly protecting Matt from his creepy cousin or just want to mess with Matt a little bit? Ooooh.....the mystery. Anyway....I still want a little something happening between Vincenzo and Matt. XD

Plot isn't bad all the time. Where are Vincenzo and Elena by the way? I kept expecting them to show up. Also, where's Leah? Oh well. Carter is creepy, I agree with Matthew.
