Thanks so much for the update. I am just grateful you seem intent on finishing thisstory; it's one of my faves still. This chapter was very great; I always enjoy your writing, chars, and plots! I love where this is heading, and wasn't expecting Alrick's angry reaction. I still see him as that lovable big guy so it'll be interesting seeing his anger next chap! Update asap!

So the caper begins: Ash and Muffin are running away! I wonder what Asher will think when he finds out that Muffin saved Carter. Don't you think Carter kind of owes him now?
And Asher, in not so many words, told Muffin that he loves him. That's what I got from their "back of the train" conversation. I like the change. In "Muffin" Muffin was so crazy in love/lust/rapture with Asher and in this story I feel we see Asher feels the same.

Also, this chapter was adorable. My favorite line was the one about Muffin being unsure if he was Dorothy or the wicked witch :3 tee hee, you're so clever. And don't worry about not updating in a while, I'm sure you haven't lost any fans because you're super busy. I know how it is sometimes, so I won't hold it against you when you get a life lol I'll keep checking this story every week or so like I've been doing since the last chapter, impatiently awaiting the shit to hit the fan. Let us know what you decide to do about the fb page/rss feed.

OMG, you updated! Thank you!!! I seriously love this story to death, and it's not just because of the amazing plot or Muffin (who is an incredible protagonist and I hope he never changes because his foul mouth and cruel comments always makes me smile). I have to say that what I'm truly enchanted with is your writing style. There are so many incredible descriptions that are truly poetic or downright pee-your-pants hilarious. In this chapter, I really loved how Muffin said that if anyone asked him why he listened to Asher, he would plead insanity and call it a crime of passion. Genius. There are some slash writers out there that charge money for access to their writing, and after reading some of the free samples, I'm embarrassed for them. Here you are, writing such entertaining and thoughtful work for free, and they're charging money for complete crap. There's one particular writer that has a habit of making the protagonist (who is always the bottom/uke) act and think like a 15-year-old girl. It's truly a shining example of the term "chicks with dicks." Pitiful. Anyways, my point is that you have a marvelous writing talent and I wanted to thank you for writing this magnificent story and of course thank you for sharing it with us. :D I can't wait for the next chapter! I actually expected Alrick to be angry with Muffin because, hey, the guy did go to prison as a result of Muffin's actions, so it's pretty obvious Muffin would be on his shit list. I just hope Muffin will be able to worm his way into the German's heart once again.

It's good to see the whole gang back together again, just like one big happy family. This should be fun. ;)

I was transfixed by "Muffin," and I am so happy--deliriously so!--to see his story continued! I'm like you: an angst whore! Such a treat to have a cleverly crafted story, written by someone who knows her way around complex interpersonal relationship showing...
