Asher and his dynamic is so intensly screwed up. He and they rest of his people are all forced into this wierd isolationist lifestyle. When clearly they just want to be left alone. What I want to know is why? Why is Asher taking the abuse? Why, if he is a crime boss isn't he dealing with this situation in the harshest way possible.
Like Matthew said, 'kill em'.
I mean you're dealing with shades of grey here, but of the two bad guys Asher is the better choice.

Somehow I want this story to resolve in a way that is mutally beneficial to Matthew and Asher's mental health.
They both need the peace and quiet.

This whole chapter had my stomach in knots from start to finish. Evil cliffhanger.

Poor Vincenzo. That scene on the dock was great, they always have great chemistry. ::sniffle::. "I insisted. I wanted to see you.”. Oh well, at least Asher knows if he screws up, Vincenzo will be repossessing any undeserved Muffins.

Why don't they want Asher to sleep with Matthew? Because he'll be more of a target? If so that's pretty cold. "Hey, we know Carter will probably send his goons or bombs in to kill you in your sleep, whatevers, we just don't want Muffie-Poo to die because he's there too!".

Alrick's speech to Asher was pretty harsh but true. How exactly can any of them have a relationship? The worst part is Leah being with them and I swear I saw that last part coming, but I still was like "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo". I vote for Carter to have a nice swim with the fishies.

And now that the crew is back together, do we finally find out why Asher hesitated to let Daniel stabilize Muffin, way back when? Did he just not want to get his hopes up? Did he think Muffin would be better off dead than dragged into his world? Was it something dodgy after all? What?

AMAZING CHAPTER. I STAYED UP TILL 3 AM TO FISISH READING THE LAST TWO CHAPTERS. I MUST SAY I HAVE BEEN UBER SAD THAT I HAVENT SEEN YOUR UPDATES BERY OFTEN AND I HOPE TO SEE THEM MORE OFTEN AND I JUST ADORE WHAT YOU HAVE HAPPENING AND IM SCARED ASHER IS GOING TO B MARRIED OR SOMETHING WITH THE WAY THE GUYS ARE ACTING TILL NEXT TIME (HOPEFULLY SOON)
