great update, i enjoy how you're not afraid to beat up your characters. part of me wishes asher to die just to make things different, but part of me doesn't because i want him and muffin together and without them idk how the story would go on.

Stupid question, but, does Asher know how to speak German? I'm assuming that
he knows, because he and Alrick, as said in this chapter "switched to another language" (the part where Asher and Matt are on the bed).

A very sad and depressing chapter indeed, but since you're the author, you know what works best, so I have no complaints.
I hope Vin doesn't go batshit on Muffin for those pills. Given the situation, he's entitled to a little prescription magic. And it's not like they're hard core drugs.
