This was the best chapter so far. Really intense. I cried. Also- high as fuck and complacent Muffin should be interesting to see. I take it that Vin (fuck if I can ever remember his name) has experience with people who drowned themselves in drugs of various kinds?
Loving this. love that you made vin accept his screwiness.
Don't necessarily want a happy ending, just want main characters alive, and some hope for the future, muhself. Even if they say something like "it's all worth it for this moment" which usually depresses me. X3

In chapter 5 when you asked if we have songs that remind us of Asher/Matthew/Vincenzo. I was actually listening to one as I read this chapter. Woodkid - Iron. Fits them very well.
By the way I love this story! I was a little iffy when i read the description to Muffin, but after the first chapter I was addicted, and rad the story in one sitting, in one day (sadly i got nothing else done that day) But i loved the story. Please add more, I am awaiting another fix from you soon!

I thought I would let you know that the site moderators at AFF fixed the problem with everyones' stories that made all the paragraphs jumbled together under each chapter. I looked your stories over and I think they fixed them for you too. I had seen it mentioned they would be working on the problem in the forum.

I RARELY log in to review a story, this is probably the 2nd or 3rd time I have done it in about 10 years of reading stories online, but I thought I should let you know that Muffin/Matthew is one of my all-time favorites, and I think you have a gift with characterization. I feel like I know your characters, and I read your stories again and again. Lame I know, but thank you for gifting us with your stories. I hope you update again soon :D

This story is so amazing. I'm sorry that AFF.net has made things so difficult that many fine authors like yourself are frustrated, tired and angry. I see fewer and fewer updates from my favorite writers and I can only surmise that this is due to the many awkward changes that have recently been implemented. Please don't give up... you have a loyal following that will stand behind you and give whatever support necessary... you need but to ask.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day! Just checking in. Attempting to patiently wait for the next chapter, which I hope will be soon (nudge nudge). Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you might find some time to write what with the 3-day weekend and all. Again, love Muffin and Asher, and want to give my vote for a happy ending, although really glad you're nowhere near thinking about an ending, because I think I would cry if "Matthew" ended anytime soon. I'd also like to strongly plead against killing off any of the main characters (Muffin, Asher, Vincenzo, Alrick, Leah).

Okay and hey. There's something up.
It began with David giving Asher his own 'cabin' to sleep in. And David being 'weird' when Asher said he didn't need it.
Now clear and honest Vincenzo clarified it all.
Something is up with Asher's sleeping habits. What? He sleepwalks? heh. More like he has nightmares. Or... whatever that might never be revealed. After all, Muffin's taste of music is silence. heh xD
*sighs* well, that was some nice moments short lived... Can't be helped when you're like - the mafia - or something. On the run and what not. With a magical whistle in this story too.
It's some really odd concoction of genre here. The taste is definitely peculiar, but I'm not stopping, still asking for seconds.
