An update in the year of the dragon is absolutely perfect! I hope there's more to come because this story is the bomb diggity. I adore the characters the most.

I really, honestly do.
I'm so excited about it I paused my nonstop listening to music about Gay Pirates to read it.
It's so fantastic and surreal and beautifully terrifying I can't even begin to explain.
I want you to write this, and only this, until I'm satisfied -- but that would be, oh, never, so just continue as you were.
I can wait.

Wow, this seems more and more ambiguous. Now I don't know if Owen feels more than just friendship for Azi. Since the story is from Azi's perspective, it's hard to tell what is wishful thinking on his part and what's real. What is sure is that Owen really cares about Azi. And I can't help but feel sorry for Greg, who seems like such a sweet and generous guy but is in the middle of something more complicated than he expects. I like Azi so I would love for him to regain his power and his Treasure, but I don't wish for Greg's death either. The way Azi talks about it, it seems like a certainty... but Owen would hate him for it!
Also, is Owen really Azi's reborn Treasure?
I'm happy that Birdbrain is back, though, particularly when tension is mounting.
It's uncanny how much can be read from a few words. This story is really fascinating.

can he like wake up and not go evil? Maybe keep some of his new found empathy? if that is the right word for what he feels now a days.....and can't he keep Greg for something? He really seems like a nice guy...oh hell i know i sound ridiculous but can't they just live happily ever after without rape and mayhem....well a little mayhem never hurt anyone :-)
