Great story as always. I have a soft spot for dragons finding their special treasures. I hope you will get to update soon. I can't wait to read some more. I wonder how Owen will react as he sees Azi getting younger everyday.

Wow, I'm hooked! Azi is really interesting and I want to really find out his backstory. Owen's a cutie and glad he didn't get freaked out by Azi, lol. Please continue!

I love this so far. I know nothing of dragon mythology, but this seems incredibly intriguing. I was skimming over some of the other reviews, and I think someone mentioned that your characterisation of azi was not as strong as when you tell the story from your usual, younger and learning protagonists. Personally, might disagree. Azi is just a much more complex persona, rather than say someone like edie from juicy fruit (not to say he's not fleshed out, cause he is, but functionally he's learning about this new druggie underworld, and naturally his thoughts are much more accessible to reader who's technically in that same position). I think the way you sort of hint at azi's depth of knowledge concerning his centuries of culuminated experience is very good. It's not a very close pov (like his thoughts are not intensely analytical of nuances of his current situation) but you hint at the subtext of his musings through vague concepts coupled with very specific bits of memory. I think it works, and definitely wouldn't change the perspective (at least exclusively). Sorry to ramble, and not how much sense that makes. General gist is I really like this, and think it could be crazy and epic :)

Ahaha! Been waiting for this for absolutely ages.
It seems weird, what with it being yaoi, with an old man as the protagonist, but honestly, I'm loving it.
I can just picture him as a black haired Grimmjow look alike when he's younger. Weird that.
Please keep updating this, I've noticed some mixed reviews, but I think this is a truly good plot.
The characters are amazing, and I love the crow.
Thanks, update soon, yeah?

Your great glorius story reminds me of this song and brings tears to my eyes, even if the Old bloody immortal thing in your story [masquerading as man] was bad and ferocious once, he still makes me sad to hear about his past. Too be so old that you forgot your name, that is truly terrible! But being too be old, and losing your treasure is even worse!
Forsooth,[in truth] I look forward to reading more of your story. G

Title : The Pinnacle
I've so much to say, and yet I cannot speak
Come and do my bidding now for I have grown too weak
My weary eyes have seen all that life can give
Come to me, O young one, for you I can forgive
I stood where no man goes, and conquered demon foes
With glory and passion no longer in fashion
The hero breaks his blade
Cast this shadow long that I may hide my face
And in this cloak of darkness the world I will embrace
In all that I endure, of one thing I am sure
Knowledge and reason change like the season
A jester's promenade
Lying at my feet I see the offering you bring
The mark of Cain is on our faces, borne of suffering
O, I long to see you say it's not been wrong
I stand before you now, a riddle in my song
The answer is that sweet refrain
Unheard it always will remain
Beyond our reach, beyond our gain
Trapped in life's parade, a king without a crown
In this joy of madness, my smile might seem a frown
With talons wrought of steel, I tore the heart of doom
And in one gleaming moment I saw beyond the tomb
I stood where no man goes, above the din I rose
Life is amusing though we are losing
....Drowned in tears of awe

Oh, nice story. I really like Azi and Owen, even though they are an odd couple. And Birdbrain is quite funny too, particularly when crows are supposed to be among the most intelligent animals in the world. Seems a bit bloodthirsty, though.
Will the company of Owen be enough to restore Azi's power or will he need more (don't know if Owen would like that, though)? Also, if Azi looks better each time Owen comes to see him, will there come a point when it will become too obvious and Owen will freak out? I wonder if he's already suspicious about Azi, or maybe has unconscious expectations?
I'd love to know more, so I hope you'll keep writing this story!

Holy mother of.... Wow. I adore this. I've never really gotten into fantasy-style stories before, but I got sucked into this one rather quickly. I want it to continue! Please! It's so interesting to literally watch Azi's growing obsession with Owen. And it's cute to see Owen humor this random crazy old man he recently met by playing along with the dragon-business. I think Birdbrain is my favorite character though. ;x He's hilarious.
I'll be eagerly waiting for the next installment!

OMG!! I have been waiting for ever for this. I like how ever so slowly Azi is regaining his strength. Owen seems like a real good guy and I wonder what's going to happen between him and Azi once Azi has fully 'recovered'. I beg you for an update soon (although I am a chapter and a half behind on Juicy Fruit.) Thank you for the update.
Update soon.
