Have you ever backpacked through Southeast Asia? It kind of sounds like you might have. I love the details of the plantation... the humid, sticky air, the birds singing in the trees and the wind through the palm fronds... It was beautiful. Lol and of course when Carl lifted Laila sarong... that was very hot! Ok, yeah, you made me squirm in my seat in less than 1000 words. Congrats!

For a backbreaking job it certainly has some nice side benefits. :) Whenever I read one of your stories I always come away with a decent impression of the places you describe and what the characters themselves are like, especially how the venue and the people interact.
The only thing that stood out: excepted used in place of accepted. (No big.)
The extemporaneous sex scene lit a little spark, and describing her reactions (sounds especially) did a lot for that. Laila taking off immediately afterwards was a nice touch, being one very natural reaction considering the situation.

Quick and to the point - Yum!
I like the set up, talking about the process and the details that goes into the harvest. You always have those extra little details that make everything seem that much more realistic!
