Costume
For Halloween that year, she remembers that Miranda was an angel. The first thing she said when she saw her lover dressed as an angel was, “Oh, and I suppose the horns are just there to hold up the halo, right?” Without hesitation, Miranda said, “Of course. And the tail is just there to make sure my skirt doesn’t fall down.”
Absolutely loved that one!
It's like looking through a journal that was kept only when the mood suited the writer.
