Aiden.... wait, what was his real name again... god, even I forgot.
That boy... is suffering from SEVERE Stockholm syndrome. Severe. it's chronic. and he doesn't seem to mind it one bit.
I just hope Joey dies soon before 'Aiden' is in too deep, then at least someone can rescue him. Or something.

There relationship is... intense. And so realistic compared to everything I've studied about stockholm syndrome which is my guilty pleasure.
Eagerly awaiting chapter five! :D

I really enjoy this story so far. Stockholm Syndrom is something that has facinated me for years...hmmm but so has rabies. Beyong the point, I really like how you developed the characters and thought out the acceptance of Joey. Can't wait for an update. :)

Wow the story really depicts Stockholm Syndrome realistically *.* I really love how Aidens thoughts contradict his actions. But isn't it fact, that Stockholms victims later ask the court for mild punishment, because they start to become emotionally addicted to their kidnappers?

This is so good... agh, poor Mark, I can only imagine a scared 16 year old adapting very quickly to some kind of "Stockholm Syndrome", or at least becoming afraid to even think about escaping. You certainly portray that well, plus considering the sorts of tortures that Joey puts him through. I was sad to read this chapter, with Mark leaving his town and his chances of escaping really being reduced to zero to none. I'm really wondering how long this will go for... though I don't want the story to end anytime soon, I'm kind of hoping he'll be saved soon, but from the summary you imply that that won't happen until he's a young man, which means, not a teenager? :( Waah! Anyway, good job, really hope to see an update soon!
