That was really beautiful. It makes me think about how life could be so fleeting and how sometimes, I wish we could live in the moment with the ones we love forever. I don't know if I believe in reincarnation or an afterlife, but the concepts are so nice to think of. Makes things a little easier. When my grandfather died, a friend of mine gave me this verse (where I've taken liberties in interpretation and name placements haha) that comforted me:

Psalm 23
... he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me... Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
