7. Sand

Though it sounds like he gave his challenge in a cheerful tone, using a timer seems a bit over the top. I get the feeling he just has a quirky sense of humor, a healthy sex life, and a partner who appreciates him at least most of the time. :)

Sand - Great scenario, you can easily imagine him having a really difficult version too - using just an egg timer! So... 3 minutes of dirty talk to focus his mind - that's just the mouth - mixed with 7 minutes or less of oral... he (or she I guess. Or it) can get the hourglass wielding dude spurtin'. Once again, you use the 140 characters for something that then gives the reader so much more imagary!

Poor gal. Though she must have quite the head for math if she's able to count down that kind of amount! ;)

Haunted really gets to me on a personal level...

Witch, Candy, and Tradition made me giggle. :P
I particularly like the flow of the Candy story. :)

Evergreen was beautiful...and it made me tear up. It was a very touching story.

Pillow. I think we've all been there. Such powerful emotion in so few words, and it's something that almost everyone can relate to.

If it weren't for the Lollipop song being stuck in my head, I might be crying right now.

Lovely little stories, Apollo. Thanks for sharing. :)

6. Pillow

The feeling itself strikes home with everyone who's ever clutched something for comfort. What is causing her distress is a mystery. I think what each reader first suspects she's worried about and waiting for would is a verbal "ink-blot test" that gives us some insight into what's foremost in our minds.

(Nope, I'm not telling. However my second thought was for your friend who signed up.)

Pillow -That's a sad one. Good how you fit it into a twitfic though!

Until the one who captured her heart is back in her arms, safe, close, and loved. :P

Nicely done again. Can't do 140 characters! WTG! Thanks for sharing, Pitt

Evergreen - That's a sad story. I see that there's elements of happiness there of course, but the overriding feeling for me from it was sadness. Given that it's showing life happening and things people'll do for love and the strength of memories I probably shouldn't feel the sadness so much. It's a very moving story for the prompt. Technically, the time jump of the narrative works very well too.
