first of all, bad ipod, bad! secondly, thank you for the nice longish chapter :). And I'm super glad that you are making this continue longer! It's sooo nice to read a het story i enjoy and really look forward to being updated! Anyways, oh noesssss in regards to the chapter! Although I am saddened by the new developments, this just keeps me all the more anxious to see what happens next. Keep you twists coming XD!!! I can't tell you how refreshing I'm finding this story to be :) Please update when you can (also looove HSF) and hope that your evil ipod doesn't erase it!!!! :D

O.k. after gobbling up chapter five I don't know who i want to kill more, The Not-So-Heartless-but-sooo-naive prick Chris,the self conscious-too-afraid-to-speak-up Mel, or YOU the evil if they're-meant-to-be-they'll-be author!! the only person I'm happy with right now is devil-may-care Helen who just came out and said what everyone (me!) was dying to say. I half expected Helen to turn to Mel and out her feelings for Chris right there.

interesting story. can't say i was surprised that chris revealed there is another REAL gf-prospect for him (at the back of my head i thought he'd say it was Mel, but the story would eventually come to an end soon if that was the case), but stuff like that happens. i say mel show chris that she can do better than him and show chris - as well as everybody else in school - that she has a different side to her that nobody knew about. :)

ok so i really enjoyed this chapter. i think i'm a bit sadistic--i want the characters to get reallly hurt before it gets better. I loved the way you described Mel's heart just breaking with every sentence he said about Ruth, so yea i am looking forward to the drama and angst...as long as it'll be ok and wrapped up in the end...:)
