I love that you came back to this story for one last chapter. It gave Kate and Volcano Guy some much-needed closure, as well as a wonderful way to fade out into the night. Thanks for sharing!

The humor in this story is great, especially the part Wolf plays. In many regards she's more like Coyote.

I love this story. Your main characters have attitude, spunk, and feelings. I'm also impressed with the growth they displayed. Your people managed to change and not in the way they expected. Hot lava rock guy was a god of destruction who did not care for humans. Now he has learned to like and care for them. It's great!
I just love this story. Thanks for writing it XD

Hi Keith
I also love playing characters from T.V and movies. I'm always heroicly posing, bashing, and blasting baddies with energy like Iron Man. It's fun and a form of anger management.
Anyway, I've loved your writing ever since I read A Fairy Interesting Experiment. Sorry I haven't reviewed. It was before my AFF account was made.
This story reminded me of a game, Black and White, where you're a deity who decides whether he's bad or good, depending on your actions or inactions. I even had a tiger that acted like Wolf. This is much better than that game, definitely.
I think you left it at a good spot. It touched on what Wolf was implying early on, without creating a whole 'epilogue' type deal, like 'where are they now?', and 'what are they destroying?' The spiritual? sex scenes were remarkable, and Sea Susan was a great character. Very 'Hell hath no fury'.
Keep doin what you do. See ya', silverlining.

What a lovely, funny story. I love all the characters you created, and particularly enjoyed 'Volcano Guy's' thoughts and interactions with his priestess (and his sacrifices, LOL). The ending was surprisingly touching and poignant, with them alone on the crater's edge and mostly abandoned by his other followers, then the idea to cheer him up by giving him new purpose and an opportunity to be with 'Sea Susan'.
Great story!

Oh, I forgot to mention how hard I laughed when I read what the girls called themselves. Somehow, the matter-of-fact way that the volcano god referred to his followers as the People of Team Edward (or Jacob) made it even more humorous. Nicely done!
