WOOO!!! What a great chapter! I knew that there would be grilling, but I never imagined that Tom would be such a fucking asshole. Worst still is that you confirmed to us that Kyle is still alive. Totally, totally pissed off at you about that Candy. But I do understand that you need a villain at this point that everyone can hate and it can't be Tom... as much as I'd like to see him get hit upside the head with a burning frying pan. *father issues*
Bravo for Gabby standing up for her love and bravo for Jamie being calm and gentle before leaving. Really looking forward to the next chapter now.

So Gabby's daddy had the x-ray vision. I wonder what gave it away?
I didn't expect Warren to stay seated there. Half expected him to go off after his sister and Ashly ( <- did i get that right?) I dunno, maybe he stayed behind to keep an eye on Jamie.
I still wait to see what happens when Kyle gets exposed.
Many big hugs for you Candy! HUG! hug. HUG!!! HUUUUUUUG!

I know I haven't reviewed Trauma much, and I'm sorry for it. I do rate every chapter, though, so it's not like I just read and leave or anything. *tries to cover up lack of reviews with ratings and fails*
But I just couldn't help but compare Tom to my old landlord. Dear god, she terrified me so much. I'd start talking to her, and I'd have to stop myself from shaking, keep my voice steady, and try not to look away too often. Even over the phone. It was bad. So, if I was in a similar situation to Jamie's, and my previous landlord was in Tom's place, oh, god. Thinking about that just drove that scene home for me. I kid you not. I'm sitting here, on my floor, whimpering, and cringing, (and laughing at myself for it, so that's somethin') because my brain's overreacting and super-imposing and trying to make fiction real. I'd have to say your a damn good writer if you can do that.
Okay, one last thing. When Gabby just shouted "YES!" at her father, my first reaction was, "FUCK YEAH! GO GABBY! *pumps arm in air*" xD Okay, another "one last thing": Go Jamie. Woo.

Well, here we go with Jamie and the rents. Still curious as to who is going to catch on first.
Or maybe they get caught kissing. I don't know, all i do know is that this story is so captivating.
More hugs for you. :)

Damn, you sure know how to start chapters with a bang! I loved the JamiexGabriella content! So cute =3 They're one of my favourite couples from anything, original or otherwise.
I freaked out when they drove to that video store and Jamie almost got out of the car. She would have busted some ass for sure. I just felt really bad for Gabriella though... Though she's really come a long way and it's great to see her facing her past and stuff.
And the reunion was so sweet. With her mom and then her dad. Made me laugh when Jamie was talking to her dad; she seemed so intimidated though she tried not to show it. Ashlee's comment was funny too. I like her :P
As always, amazing writing CandyCaner. I look forward to every chapter :D

BRAVO!!!! Wonderful chapter. Tense and scary meeting, parents as judging as I assumed they would be. But so very happy to see that Jamie wasn't pretty much roasted in front of Gabie's family. But I do expect some form of minor roasting during the dinner, or maybe Jamie getting kicked out because she's not part of the Kayman family and has no right or reason to be there.
Looking forward to the next chapter as always Candy.

*BIIIIIIG HUUUG* More hugs please! XD
The town does sound very interesting.
eh, sorry, don't mind if this is jumbled, I'm a little high. :)
So, the whole thing with the pool, very nice. I wish that it could have continued there... oh well. Tease! ;P
I'm curious as to how the meal will go down. I look forward to it with much Anticipation. Curious to see how each of her parents react to meeting Jamie, and who will catch on to their relationship first.
Who will try and change it... maybe?
*HUG* Fogu >;-}

Hmm... the pool scene I can see actually happening in real life. The room at the start of the chapter, good job on not sliding in a sex scene. Leave it up to others imaginations to picture what happened.
Missing room key. There is no way that Lesley would follow Jamie and Gabby all the way to Lansing. But it's a possibility. Stalkers are persistent creatures. But the way the scene was written, it would imply that the woman was in the pool area before Jamie and Gabie got there. Still leaves a small space for my Lesley theory, but it seems very unlikely.
Moving on to Lansing. Interesting city indeed. I quite like that Jamie was about to jump out of the car and go kill someone, but also glad that Gabby stopped her. Although the last line of this chapter. "So much for confronting demons.". Jamie is thinking that, isn't she? She's not happy with Gabby, but would rather protect her girl than go and take out one of the evil bastards.
Thanks for the hugs and hugs to everyone who has continued to review so far. Looking forward to the next chapter Candy.

OKAY! I propose that you start the next chapter off with the rest of the M'N'M's being finished off. :)
Even though those little chocolate pieces are cursed.
She could slip on the wrapper after they're done in bed... those things can really get you moving if they're on the carpet... and get a bump and bruise on her shin.
it would be funny if a candy bowl of them were set out on Gabby's parents' coffee table, and Jamie makes a point to sit 'away' from them. like they're a bad omen or something.
When this series is done, i know i'll be rereading it. So many delectable mental images are brought on.
i'd like to use that M'N'M idea on my Gal. :)
