Ann is now very scary.

"I'm sorry," I repeated. "If things were different, maybe something could have happened."

There was a sudden flicker in her eyes when she looked at me. Okay, maybe I shouldn't have said that...

Clearing my throat, I murmured, "Bye, Anne."

"Bye, Jamie," she said, and I left as quickly as I could.


Let me just say the first set of words that come to mind. Holy shit!!!! That, is very very bad and I am already thinking that things are going to get hairy for Jamie and Gabby, more-so for Gabby. I only hope that Jamie warns her about Anne.

So, awesome chapter Candy. Bringing Anne back as a main suspect behind the attack, making her lust for Jamie and then giving that ending to throw further suspicion on what Anne's true motivations are or are going to be. That was just CRAZY. Looking forward to the next chapter.

... I really want a Pepsi now. Damn iiiiiit. ;^; (Stomach, shut up. I'm not feeding you, especially when I have no money to. *glares down at stomach*)

PFFFTTT. Oh, this is rich. Jamie just keeps attracting everyone, huh? XD *is almost bouncing in laughter in the library*... *is still trying not to laugh* Oh, man. When Anne just said, "Goodness, I can't", I suddenly thought of you saying, "Oh, Gina". Gaaawd. It was not conducive to my trying not to laugh. Srsly. But, mm, yes. Anne might just have to be watched, especially after that something flickered in her eyes. Hopefully Anne doesn't get the idea that if Gabby's out of the picture that Jamie will just fall into her arms.

"I need to see you." Yea, that definitely raises questions. :)

Okay. This chapter started off in the realm of a dream, which I both adore and hate. Anyways, tiny bit curious about the dream hand, but a dream hand is nothing but a dream. The real sweet drama is the worker/boss relationship and how understand Pete is. But the scary and possible cliffhanger ending... like I said last review. You repair everything, then sudden bah boom, you slap in an ending that tears everything apart once more. XD

Well, I'm certainly hoping you know my gender... but I guess I'll leave it here anyway. To quote someone, "Female and proud of it!" xD (Oh, geez. I feel odd. Because I just quoted my own character. x'D)

Oh, geez. What is it with you people and having your characters have their hair in buns? It makes me feel weird, because that's how I (9.9/10 times) have my hair. I kind of want to see about braiding it now or something; just to be different again. Oh, damn. Mysterious caller number one on line three, huh? And when Pete was all worryin' over Jamie, I swear one of my first thoughts was, "Oh, Pete. You're just like the dad of company, aren't you?" x'D

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hi."

"Who is this?" I questioned, confused.

Silence. Then, "I need to see you."
Woooooooow. Classic cliffhanger CandyCaner! XD Things are really starting to get crazy in a calm sort of way if that makes any kind of sense eheh. And the small JamiexGabriella bits are always wonderful to read ;)
Oh, and I think that uh...Anne Boucher (?) chick is coming back soon. Maybe that's who's on the other end! :O So many questions!

I still like drew for this, but I'm sure you've got one hell of a twist in this. For co-workers, Richard, that guy's creepy. But, he doesn't seem malevolent towards Jamie... in some odd way, i think those two are becoming friends.

Stalking. Don't those cases often involve phone calls? I'm sure not all do, but still, it's common for a stalker to want to contact their 'prey'.

Oh well.

So, good luck with your home. hopefully you get it done faster than we are here. We have three rooms left, one that still needs a little work. And it is slow when it's a D.I.Y. project. :)

... I really wanna go down to the 15th St. near my place now and just see if there's a gas station on it. Just for shits and giggles. xD Also, I'm really glad I wasn't eating or drinking anything when Jamie was like, 'Uh, yeah, about that. I'm a recovering sex addict. :|' I started laughing so hard at that scene (I think picturing it really didn't help), and I prolly would have choked had I had something in my mouth. (Oh, god. My brain just took that the wrong way. *sighs and facepalms at self*)

But take your time with updates, and everything else online. Having your house worked on kinda-just-a-smidge takes priority, so if you poof for a bit, it's cool.
