The design of the tribal marking sounds gorgeous.

It's nice that there is at least a little going on behind Soren's whiny, immature, selfish exterior. But, sorry, I still think that Storm would be a much better match for Tegan. I'm looking forward to your next chapter!

Wow. Wow. I really like this, I just clicked on it out of halfhearted interest but I really liked it and can't wait for the next chapter. I may be wrong but I really want Soren and Tegan together, I like them, can't wait for the next chappy. Update fast, like a bunny on crack!

I love how you wrote Tegan's interactions with her parents' spirits -- it really gives a sense of their personalities and their love for their daughter. Very touching. I also love how Tegan made sure to find out how to free Storm.

Hmm, not sure where things are headed with the introduction of the brother/brother conflict. And who could the serpent be???

Good chapter. I like Storm and Tegan together. I hope that her comment at the end not promising sex doesn't mean that it is never going to happen between them! *crosses fingers*

I liked reading about the ritual and how Tegan is learning to use her magic. I wonder who put the hex on the little girl?

Ugh, Soren is just an arrogant ass. Even though it seems like you are probably building up to Tegan & Soren hooking up, I really really really prefer her with Storm. Storm actually treats her like he cares, while Soren is just childish and self-centered.

I really like how Tegan has a backbone and isn't afraid to say what's on her mind. I glad you made her such a strong character. I hate it when the protagonist falls into lust right off the bat with any/every good looking guy that comes her way, especially when said guy is a total assh*le (i.e. Soren). Shallow, brainless characters like that make me drop a story faster than a hot potato, so I'm glad Tegan is the total opposite. I hate Soren's guts for how rude and mean he was to Tegan, especially since he just met her and knows nothing about her. It was totally uncalled for. And now that she has demonstrated her power, he suddenly wants her. What a shallow motherf*cker. He only wants her because of her power and I hope Tegan realizes that and never falls for him. Please don't let them get together because I love Storm (he's such a sweetheart) and Tegan should be with him (or at least anybody that isn't Soren).

I like the way that Tegan stands up for herself in this chapter. And Storm is so sweet and sad. I wish I had a familiar like him!
