You are very good at writing tension. But this seems like an exhaustive tension. Like Taylor was tired of fighting but didn't want to give up. She seems to be a bit of a coward, but that's okay. I would be too in that kind of a situation, I think. I bet I'll love the last chapter, no matter who was murdered. I anticipate it greatly.
