Well, I'm still feeling sorry for Beck. It's gonna take him quite awhile before he gets accustomed to is "new normal".

OMG, that was horrible! Not the story, the chapter! I'm still crying. What the hell happened? What kind of an explosion was that And what year does this take place? And what the heck are Pulses? So many questions....sorry, I'm all choked up now. Gotta get some Kleenex.

Ok, you got me hooked. And beyond curious. What does Beck have to do w/the Mason and his grandson and daughter? Hmmmm....
The story is really funny; I was cracking up when Connors told Beck he was waiting all day for him. Beck thought to himself it's probably best if I breathe through my mouth. "It's ten." That was funny! And when the guy he had the meeting with said, "I'm an alcoholic; I'll drink to anything." That was funny!
You've piqued my curiosity; I can't wait for the next chapter!
