That was an excellent last chapter. The loneliness and helplessness, because you soft-pedaled it, was very affecting. The way you wrote, reserved and steady, as if this calamity must end, was a perfect reaction for Sebastian. Of course he would not panic. He's lived a long time. He might despair, or harden himself, but for Fen he keeps the candle lit and hopes. That's so worthy.
Definitely love this last development. Nicholas is Sebastian's Sire, and the abusive lover, right? Yet he doesn't seem completely foul; holding to your word is a fine quality, and a lot of very sweet people don't have it. Also, he could have bargained for a lot more. Like a period of indenture, and I'm sure he knew it.
Poor Sebastian, but I know he's not an angel (the savage killing tipped me off. I'm perceptive that way). "Darken my doorstep?" That muddles things. It seems to imply that Sebastian may have wronged Nicholas, or at least that Nicholas thought so.
You have me worrying about Fen (good job!). I suppose I was wrong about him defeating Bane handily. Unless-- is it Nicholas who has Fen? The Sire did not seem very surprised. He did not ask very many questions. Or is it Slayers? That could be good, because I think they desperately need more definition. They've been one-dimensional.
Or could Fen have left? After all he's post-change asshole Fen, so he might have had a choice between going off to cool down or vicously attacking Sebastian. Who left him. With corpses. I could understand Fen needing a day or two to get the red out of his eyes.
I think its great that this story is not predictable, nor are these charactors.

I don't really read much fanfiction or anything like that. My friend told me about it. I've read about 10 stories, but this TOP THEM ALL! OMG! I couldn't stop reading! I skipped my freshman seminar today just to read more. LOL Don't worry. Nothing was missed. BUT SERIOUSLY! THIS IS AMAZGING! If ever you opublish this in a book or make it into a movie, I AM BUYING IT FOR SURE! Congrats! This is pure genius! GOSH I AM JEALOUS! XD I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!

Yikes.I hope Sebastian does not get captured. I cannot imagine a more horrible thing than being stuck in that warehouse with all those stinking dead bodies. I get the feeling Sebastian is going to be in the doghouse no matter how this turns out.

Oh happiness! Awesome love scene. What a perfect way to celebrate your 50,000 word mark. Congratulations. Fen is so good with Sebastian. He is learning when to push Sebastian a little and when to let him set his own pace. I am glad that Sebastian was able to step forward and make that connection with Fen. I am really in love with this story. As far as updating, I say you should strike while the iron is hot. Write whichever story is flowing best. I would love to see an update to "A Vicious Cycle" but I will be happy with whichever story you choose to update.

Hurrah! I love that you arranged 50 K to coincide with Fen popping like a champagne cork. Now its a celebration! Fen's hirsuteness, by the way, is what I'd hoped for, but I'm hardly shocked that Sebastian wants it gone.
Sebastian surprised me, I hoped for something, maybe paralysis (an improvement over flight). He managed to respond AND reciprocate. There's life in the old boy yet.
More tantalizing hints about his past-- a long time since he 'had' to suck cock? Doesn't sound like a relationship. More like an extended rejection.
I want you to continue this story. Also, you should start your new story, even if you don't post it right away. If it is exciting for you, you should not hesitate, and if it invigorates you, that will help this story, too.
