Ghagiel! I've faithfully checked for updates and at last you reward me! I knew you loved me.
In turn, I love this twist chapter.
We discover Sebastion was known to his sire as a lier and a spiteful child, sharper than a serpent's tooth. Yet he and his sire seem two of a kind; Nicholas may be technically honest, but he is manipulative. I love that he's physically slight but behaves in such an intimidating way. I liked it when Nicholas chastised his boy for dressing in Fen's shirt. And called Fen a "pet." Wayward pet, no less! I know how much trouble that type can be!
I still don't know if Nicholas is a complete villain. All the signals are there, however. Whatever else, I hope we get some hot "Come to Daddy" action, no matter if its sweet or nasty.
Fen was alpha and Bane was beta, hm. I was sure Fen was second to Bane, and crucial to his pack. Alpha, though! The fact that they all abandoned prey (Sebastian) on Fen's off-hand advice was good fore-shadowing for this. It's not an overtwist; it's just right. And Bane as a mate really works. I think the two have an appealing chemistry, and Bane seems sincere. He's playing hard-ball with Fen, but in an open way. I really prefer that dynamic to the oily dance of Sebastian and Nicholas. I also love the idea that the werewolves mate for breif periods rather than life. I'm getting the impression that the mating is separate from the status; that it is personal rather than part of an alpha/beta role. Is this right?
Fen's response to Bane seemed generous and compassionate and sexy. Then Fen had to be an ass. Good guys don't shove their lovers onto the floor (unless they accompany them). I hope Fen makes it right. He could ask Bane for his help. If Sebastian can do this with Nicholas, can't Fen do it, too?

OMG! i never thought the day would come when I felt sorry for Bane. It seems Fen has been keeping secrets. I get the feeling that Sebastian would not be amused to find out that Fen is the alpha. It makes it seem like Fen has just been off on a little vacation at Sebastian's expense. I would love to know what Fen is thinking. Has Fen been playing with Sebastian's feelings this whole time.

Ooh, I hope Fen and Sebastian get back together again soon, although I reckon Nicholas and Bane will be a bit more of a spanner in the works :) Seems to be a bit of a shift in the pack dynamics since the beginning of the story, wonder if there's more to Fen than we know? Aah, keep it coming!!

Well hello there, plot twist. Nice to meet you, thanks for confusing me. :)
I'm interested to see how the whole arrangement plays out with Sebastian & Nicholas. Something tells me that Nicholas knows exactly where Fen is but just isn't telling since then their deal is off. And why didn't Sebastian see that in the first place? Yeah, he needed Nicholas & his contacts, but with the arrangement he agreed to, he might as well have never phoned Nicholas in the first place.
And I'm interested to see how Sebastian behaves through it all. His character has been really incongruent for me... first he was presented as being this super suave, ambivalent, haughty vampire. Classic vamp. Then he turns into this little pussy that whines and acts like a 15-year-old. I know you explained the personality
shifts, it just doesn't really play out for me in my head the way that it's supposed to I guess!
Can't wait for the next update!

I tried to email you, but my email decided to be dumb. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know how fabulous your story is, and how wonderful your writing style is. Hooray for grammar and sentence structure! Keep up the good work. I am waiting ever so patiently for the next chapter, which means I check four times daily. Sweet story! and I am done now...

I so wish I had started reading this story earlier. It's amazing, my dear! I actually did take a peak at the first chapter a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't grab my attention at the moment so I moved on... I wasn't feeling a vampire story at the time.
But tonight, tonight the vampire/werewolf thing struck my fancy and my, oh my, this story definitely was just what the doctor ordered. :)
Awesome story. Even awesomer considering you wrote it for Nano. Nano stories tend to be a bit... frantic. Lol. But even though you said it was all over the place, I think it's really well put together and paced out. I'm glad that you didn't try to rush & get the whole story to fit within the 50k.
Can't wait for more chapters! I'm going to miss the daily updates though. It gave me lots to read tonight. :)

oh I love your story! I´ve been reading it since the 1st chapter! you write so well, the plot, the characters, the descriptions...by far this is one of the best! please continue with it!!!! I really love your work

As I was reading this chapter, I wondered who would kidnap Fen and keep him alive instead of killing him. My guess is Bane. If it is not Bane, then maybe some other werewolf clan in Berlin? I am glad that Sebastian has the chance to strong for Fen and to hopefully rescue him. I just hope he does not have to taint their relationship by sleeping with that Nicholas guy too. Not after establishing this fragile relationship with Fen. They haven't even had real sex as yet! I don't think I can stand the suspense. You have spoiled us with the fast updates. I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter.
