I'm glad you decided to post this story and fascinated to see where it goes. I'm a fan of Mpreg but not in the WAFF/cute guys knocked up kinda way... I like the 'it's not natural' aspect, the surprise and angst it brings and how the character deals with it (OMG!, I'm what!!??). You are a good storyteller and I've noted you tend to update regularly and complete your stories. Please continue!
BTW, my only guess on the trilogy Alex was reading is the Last Herald Mage series by Mercedes Lackey (awesome books IMO!)

How very intriguing. I am interested in seeing where this is going. I don't think that Alex is going to react very well to be thrust into a "fairytale". He seems a bit too down-to-earth to me.
As for the book trilogy, I am going to guess for two different trilogies. The first being The Last Herald-Mage by Mercedes Lackey. The other being my favorite Lynn Flewelling's Nightrunner series.
