What happened to Alexis in the original story? I didn't even know that this wasn't the original.
Did I miss something somewhere? I didn't remember Erik coming out to his mom. Well, maybe vaguely. What chapter was that in?
There were so many funny parts, I found myself cracking up throughout the chapter. Travis throwing Erik's flashlight so he'd buy another one from him, to Cock-a-Doodle-Dude to jizzicles (too funny). But the best line: "...the only stiffness would be from rigor mortis and you'd have bigger problems to worry about." That was hysterical! :)
All in all, a very funny chapter! Erk's such a baby; I can't imagine him being without the power for a week or longer like others have to do all the time during bad storms.
As I said Omni, I hope you're doing better and I look forward to the next chapter whenever you get it out. =)

i feel like i haven't reviewed in forever! sorry about that because you do a fantastic job with every single chapter and us greedy readers need to review!! Anyways...my favorite part about this chapter is the dorky brunette comment LOL! Hahaha awww it makes me wish Alexis and Erik can have little blond babies somehow....awwww oh well! but yea glad it went down well with Erik's crazy mother (who I love and fear that I may turn into in some aspects) but I wonder what will happen when (if) Alexis' parents find out! 0_0 Anyways thank you for these chapters and am looking forward to the others :D

Oh hey good to see this is still going. What happened to all the sex? It used to be non-stop making out! Although I guess that was allllll the way in the very beginning... how very realistic ;P Erik's mom is something else, huh? But I guess I'd prefer someone who's offensive by accident and means well over someone who's polite but hates your guts. :D

Kudos to you Omnipotent! You made me cry! Usually I just laugh my way through your chapters, but today I cried, THEN I laughed! The whole thing with Erik's dad was really touching.
Then of course had to crack up that they were making out IN THE CLOSET!!! But his mom's reaction was priceless! She only cared that she was wasting rent money on an extra bedroom! lol
And she pregnant? By whom? hahahh Now Erik's gonna have to share his mom! And probably babysit! Oh no! hahah

Holy crap this chapter was hysterical! :) From Jim's being able to zip her her skinny jeans AND sit down in them, to Erik's cursing right before midnight and then botching the whole thing by Jan. 2nd. He's just too funny! :)

awww liked the Thanksgiving chapter! And yessss sweet potatoes with brown sugar are sooo much better than the other kind! Let's see this chapter I liked Erik being mature and introspective, catching up with his past, and the cat kinda showing him affection. Also lovvved the comment about Alexis' natural reaction to wanting to pet cats--so true...not many people are cat people and they look at you funny when you want to cuddle them. Also OMG Erik's mom! LOL I really like her character although it's kinda scary how many family members she kinda reminds me of so as I read it I get the desired 'ugh so annoying' effect that you are going for, I think. Hehehe liked this chapter...sooo is it bad if I ask will you also do a Christmas/Hannukah/other holiday chapter and a new year's one? :P heheh sorry I ask for too much but I love these guys!
