Woot! Recently I discovered the existence of Aff.net's Original section and was pleased to know of it's existence. This story of yours is intensely fascinating with good characterization and plenty of intrigue. Please update this story once more when you have the opportunity and inspiration to do so. Excellent job!

This is one of the strangest stories I've ever read but I'm enjoying it immensely. There are so many questions that I'm dying to have answered, mostly regarding Nicholas, whom I adore. But I feel so sorry for him because of how messed up his life has been due to his ability to see things others can't. I can't wait for the next chapter and hope Roger returns to where Nicholas is soon. :D

You're characters are so interesting, they draw me in, and I keep wondering what Nick is. Maybe something really powerful? Since he could overpower the magic parchment and displayed abilities that even the magic users found odd. But even though he may be powerful, Nick is really insecure (but cute) in his 'insanity.'

Roger is also extremely interesting; I love the way you've portrayed him. For example, he instinctually FEELS things (like, 'I'm not a vampire') but doesn't really have any hard facts to back it up, so just accepts it. And he's famous for his method of blood-sucking. Sorta cool guy.

I want to read more. All of your characters are interesting. I especially like Nick. As someone who has been shipped around to different psychiatrists since third grade, I can sympathize with him. Eventually, you just give up telling them what is wrong because you know they can't fix it.

This is a very good start and I can't wait for the next update. There were some spacing issues tho, do you think you could press enter twice at the end of your paragraphs so that it's not one big block?
