chapter 18, finally i'm caught up! great work putting this story together. i'm still trying to figure out what Nick is. LOL. will Nick get bent with Roger behind him? i surely hope so! especially on how it will come about. now tat will be interesting with a semi-reluctant Nick and a so eager Roger. thanks for all the hard work! now off to read Northkind Mage.

Wonderful! I was so drawn in to this story. The characters are complex and the plot kept me hooked and guessing. I can't wait for the next chapter(s).

I'm just about to start chapter 15, and I'm sort of dreading it, because there's not a chapter 16 yet! I hope you can update soon, I'm very much enjoying this amazing story!

Okay, I'm all caught up now and hoping you can post an update soon! I know it's not a lot to say I'm enjoying your story enough that I want more, so I'll add that I'm not a big vampire fan at all, but it's impossible to not like Roger, he's a great character. I'm enjoying Nick, but I wish I could get to see more of him, I'm beginning to feel a bit distanced from him, compared to the beginning of the story. Lent is a really interesting guy, too; I hope he gets a good story line. Maria is the kind of character you love to hate, and I'm worried about poor Mohan! I hope he and Roger can get back together soon, they're a great pair. So, to reiterate, I really hope you're able to update soon. :)

this... is really fascinating. So many characters all having there bit ib the story and melding into the over story all at once. It's good stuff. ^^

Dun dun dun dun....man, yeah, Mohan's creepy. I sure do not envy those men, though I wonder what exactly they were up to...you know, before they got...eaten, or whatever it is exactly Mohan did to them, but it seemed like eaten was the appropriate word.

And here we go with Miss Evilbitch (i.e., Maria) again. Nick's situation refuses to get any simpler, but it's cool to see that he's interested in Roge too (if only for completely natural, wtf is going on reasons). Still. Great creepy way to make an entrance, though; could feel the chills as the windows shook and the wind howled. Very...evocative descriptions (even though that word is over-used in reviews, I know).

I feel bad for the 'theif.' He was so scared and Roger was just...Roger amuses me. XD Very nonchalant and not about to intimidated by a bunch of newbs. "Northerners," whoever they are, don't seem like a nice lot of people so far.

Oooooh, that's what happened to them! (Sorry, wrote this review as I went.) Okay, so, scratch creepy; Mohan's inner beast is WICKED. "Kill yourself." Sorry, but I think...that might be my favorite line this chap, just because of the impact; makes the heart go thunk-a-thud. o-o

Very nicely done chapter.

Man...I commend Nick's bravery...and his stomach. I'm not sure I would have been able to handle that ordeal with Lent (have issues with blood, as squicky and typical-female that sounds). Still. Glad Lent came out of okay, at least for now, and can't blame Nick for all his questions. As a reader, I get a lot more information than him and I still have questions waiting to be answered as this all goes on. I trust things will continue to be revealed bit by bit though.

Poor Roger (and Mohan, I suppose), I mean...I guess it's like having some kind of beast caged in you. (For both of them, actually? Just different beasts.) Anyway, to need something so badly and animalistically that it takes over your senses and makes you do things you'd never do in your right mind to even your good friend...it's a scary thought, but you portrayed it well. I really got caught up in it as it went along and thought Roger was going to drink from him. I also wonder who dares follow Roger in a place like that. o-o

And finally, green bottle??? Guess I'll find out next chapter. Nice work, and sorry it took me so long to get back to this...finally all settled in my new dorm in China. Hopefully I'll still have enough time to read for pleasure after classes start tomorrow. Looking forward to continuing this. :)
