The prologue is done quite well, the English I mean.
But as for 'capturing the interest of your readers' I would say... not so well.

Honestly, If I'm just reading this one chapter, I'd probably forget about it till I happen to re-read your summary when your story appears on the 'latest' page again (and that's only gonna happen when you update).
(Your summary's quite good thou =D It caught my interest.)

I hope you update, and I hope the next chapter would be able to hook the interest of the readers better.
I do hope you update often (not like some authors who update a few times in a year xD ), and I do hope that you have many intriguing things to tell us in this story. About Isylan, and the sleeping (nameless) god.
