(6) Kinda forgot about the shape-shifter thing that seems to roam about the house, I was worried for a moment there that Nana was just as looney as the rest of them. At least I assume that's what happened because if not than there's a whole other side to Nana than we first thought.
You know we always knew that Cain wasn't a nice or honourable kind of guy but at the beginning of this you can see just how much of a little shit he really is. I wonder if he does have any actual talent or not, although if he does that almost makes it worse because if he had just done a little work he probably would have been successful without all the drama. I'm thinking he would still be a slut though, he seems to like the men too much to be anything but ;)
I have to say that Stiles didn't endear himself this chapter - actually he was a right jerk. I ended up at the end of all that thinking I might like Lawrence better and I had pretty much settled into him being Cain's nemesis (i know nemesis sounds dramatic but it's all i could think of) for the story and the resident jackass. Now I think Stiles might actually have Lawrence beat in the biggest jerk category, it's still early though. As bad as the whole calling the guy by his grandfathers name during sex was, it was how he treated Cain after that pretty much put him on the list of unlikables, at this rate Johnny's going to be my favourite :) I wonder what had Stiles running after all that happened, was it what he did, what he said or maybe he realized just how much he hurt Cain, next encounter isn't going to be pleasant.
Alright I think that's enough of my rambling nonsensical review for now, I don't even know if I can call it a review since it's not even that constructive. The chapter was a definite twist though since I wasn't expecting Cain and Stiles to get anywhere near sex with each other for awhile, although I'm guessing that will not be happening again in the near future at least.
Anywho great chapter, it seems things are starting to get even more interesting and just when we're going to have to what for a bit till the next chapter *pouts* I guess it can't be helped though. Hope you have an uneventful move and everything arrives in one piece, I will try to wait patiently for your return hun but I'm definitely going to miss your updates ^_^

This is a great story. It has a lot of unexpected developments that make it rather riveting. LOL Write more soon, please.

(5) Gotta agree with Cain ewwww, although I do think there's more of an explanation there, plus I just remembered something from earlier in the story (which i won't post publicly in case i'm wrong ;) so there's got to be more to it, at least I hope because 76 *shudder*
Back to the beginning though I loved the description of what Cain was seeing, I've always liked stories that have atmosphere and a great feel to it and the imagery was wonderful :) At least until he was attacked by the wind/dirt storm, good thing Lawrence was there to rescue him - I think ;) I get the feeling these two together are a little like a cage-match, very physical and a little vicious.^^ And speaking of Lawrence what happened to him, you kind of just forgot about him for the rest of the chapter. He drove to the bar, isn't that where he was going, so why didn't he come in? I don't know if I'm getting ahead of you and he wanders in the next chapter, I just thought it a little odd that we didn't even get Cain looking back and see him sitting there with a smug look (or pissed off because Stiles ruined his fun), not trying to be nitpicky just something I noticed as I read the rest of the chapter.
Another thing that had me wondering is isn't Stiles being a bit of a hypocrite about Lawrence, he's done nothing but be absolutely miserable to Cain since he's gotten there and then seems surprised to find them together. It's a little forgivable since he's still upset and I get the feeling Cain probably reminds him of Pappy but still, seeing how they work things out's going to be interesting.
Great chapter at least we started to get some sort of answer about what was going on, we also almost got some smut :) I'll admit to being curious if Lawrence and Cain ever actually do hook-up or not, even though I'm assuming Stiles and Cain end up together. Course left to my own devices I could come up with ideas about probably all the guys, I'll have to what to see if I'm right ;) Another great chapter, it's fun every time I see an update, I can't wait to see what Cain's getting himself into :) Hope your having a great night hun ^_^

So I was planning on lurking around and not reviewing this story because I'm so lazy, but this story is slowly but surely becoming my new favorite thing.
This chapter was hilarious. "Eww, I kissed an old man fucker!" LMAO. I was wondering what was up with Stiles. Being in love with a 76 year old never crossed my mind.
And I officially love Johnny after chapter 4. So what if he bullied Cain as a child? After he got all up in Nana's face trying to protect him I call it even. <3333 Johnny.

I can't wait to know what actually the 'inheritance' is. urm, I hope there will be other hot guys than Stiles. While I do fell in love with him first time around, the way he harassed/begrudged/looked down on Cain make me want for Cain to have others..just so I can say "take that!!" to Stile..lol. Btw, I love Cain's name =) . I love this story and I go to your page to read others written by you. And I saw you're the author of "Evening Wear"!!!! gosh, I totally love that story.. the development, the ending (because he chose 'Lucy' ) and the way it was presented. So I have high hopes for 'Heirloom' as well.

thanks for the update! I must say Lawrence doesn't seem like he should be trusted, but I'm glad that he did reveal a little about Cain's inheritance...so "Purgatory," I like the concept of being able to touch the dead and vice versa...Stiles went all caveman on Cain and stealing him out of the car...I wonder if it is more then just not wanting Cain to get with Lawrence...I wonder what Stiles meant by love...did he LOVE Peter, or was it more of a father/son love...Update soon! Keep up the good work~

Haha wow! I already suspected it but I had the same reaction as Cain. Eww, he kissed an old man fucker xPP I love this story and the suspense! If Cains pappy is molesting him in the basement it's reaaally disturbing :P I have no ide how you could have an atraction for someone that has the hots for his grandson. But I guess Stiles has his reasons. This story is great I love the character Cain!
