Oh, this was good. Also, while reading this chapter, "Best Of Me" by Morningwood was playing, and I think it kind of fits Saige. Maybe. I donno. I guess you'd have to judge for yourself, really. In addition to that, when Saige was sketching Amanda the first time, I had a major Titanic flashback. XD No joke. But, can't wait until the next installment. 8D

Oh no, that's horrible. :( He must have gotten punished for that, no? God, that makes me angry! I'm so glad Ms. Thornrush came in, beautiful as ever, I'm sure -- can't help it that I have a soft spot for her! -- and Saige told her she would still be drawing. She has so much strength, it's wonderful. I hope Amanda has the opportunity to comfort Saige and help heal her wounds... if you catch my drift. ;) That would be so sweet. Can't wait for next time!

Yes, I would have liked her to disobey her parents and run off with her pals for a late-night rendezvous instead of going to that social and chatting it up with some old guy, haha. The scene with the couple breaking up was so funny to read 'cause it's like the classic high school scene where the major couple finally splits and, for some strange reason, it always has to be a HUGE DISPLAY so everyone sees it and it's all over the world within ten minutes. I have an inkling though that it may mean something more important in this story than solely a break-up... ;) Keep it coming, hun! :)

...I get the feeling that I haven't been reviewing this story, even though I like it. Sorry about that. I just get so...lethargic and end up not reviewing like I should. Even though you so nicely asked for them. *cries and begs for forgiveness*

Ah, but, so. This story's pretty good. I was pointing at my screen in astonishment while going, "I did something like that, too!" when Saige was passing the kitchen. And, damn. I'm kinda envious of Saige's drawing abilities. It'd be nice to be able to sketch fast like that. I also really like the characters and how they interact with each other. Well, mostly. That dad is something else; he reminds me of my mom a bit, what with the whole drinking thing. >n>; Anyway. Keep up the fantastic work and I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Ah! Before I forget, how exaclty is Charlos's name pronounced? I keep wanting to pronounced the 'ch' like 'chair', but then I figure that the 'h' could be silent, leaving me confused again. Would you mind telling me? Please?

But, this chapter was a lovely surprise when I decided to slink back here and check for updates. *is currently trying to refuel on creativity* I don't blame Saige for leaving the party, though; sounds like a drag and a killjoy. Hope you update again soon. 8D

It is a bit weird that they are cousins and that Melinda had to show up to dinner all provocative just for family, but whatever floats her boat! I also loved the end, how Saige was contemplating her drawing and why she even did it. Very interesting. Can't wait for more!

Oooh, exciting! I want to see the dinner scene -- especially because Ms. Thornrush is in it and she's prettyyyy. :) The scene between Amanda and Saige in the bathroom was very touching -- hoohoo punny! -- and adorable.
