I love your story! I was just thinking the other day how much I missed this story so I am quite happy it's back. If you still need a Beta, I can help. I've never been a Beta before but I have been an English major for 4 years. :)

Hey... How r u doing?! long time no see! :(
It was sooo long that I had to go and read the 2 previous chapters to reminded myself where were we! lol and yes after months it was a great surprise and I enjoyed reading it a lot! :D
Well, it's good to know you are back and with everything that happened in this chapter, I hope a lot of private time with these two and maybe some action! ^_^ I mean what are they gonna do all alone in a room all day long, alone?! :D so yes! action would be great! :D
Anyway, thanks again for the update ^_^ hope to see another update soon ;)

darling..you just made my...well..year? lol i kinda stalked your profile and your lj for any sign of you and just yesterday i was checking again for any updates on this lovely piece of art :D by the way, you just made me write my first review in a veeeeeeery long time (because, honestly, i couldn't find a story that has intrigued me in so long..)
so..anyway, i just wanted to tell you that i really love this story and your style and if, by any chance, you're worried about finding your way back into the whole writing business and especially 'desert wind', i can assure you, you did a very fine job :)
(i'd like to go on and on but i think my message came across? you made me a very happy girl today...XD) keep on writing, i'm looking forward to reading this to the very end <3

It's great seeing the update~
I left a brief review at the end of my beta notes, but I think I'll leave a more detailed one here. :>
I like that you did not pick right up directly from the previous chapter, and instead chose to display a bit of a time lapse.
Additionally, whether intentional or not, I like how it seems Alex has made his sanctuary the late Emira's private library, thus creating another parallel between him and Zahra. (The first being the incident with the children when he went out with Asad.)
As always, I continue to find Alex more and more endearing. Even the small commentary in the beginning about how he was watching Transformers in the Arab dub with English subtitles had me chuckling in amusement.
It's good to see that Alex is adjusting to his time in Shassan, and finding some form of enjoyment in learning about the history and geographical layout of the area. (Though I'm pretty sure that education won't be the only form of... enjoyment, that he will experience in his time there. ;D )
Not going to lie, I most certainly did -not- see the injury to Husam coming at all. I also like how you noted Sadin's urgency by him only briefly knocking before rushing into the room with the news. Alex's worry was well portrayed without going overboard and making things a bit unbelievable.
It's nice to see his relationships with his husbands steadily progressing as we continue on, and the vulnerability that is shown from him on his relations with the royal siblings in this chapter was a nice touch.

I woke up today and for some reason thought of this story, wondering how long it had been since I last read a new chapter. Imagine my happy surprise when I found the lovely update in my inbox! Not only am I glad you are continuing this story, but I'm ecstatic to see more story development! Will Alex be nursing his husband back to health? oh, I'm jumping in giddiness!

OMGOMGOMGOMGGGGGOOODDD!!!!!!! Yayyyyy an update! *jumps up and down* LOL
I'm sooo freaking happy right now! LOL I want more Alex and more Husam! They look so cute together! And yummy! *grins*
But also I would like to see Alex having a good time with Asad as well... I like him too but we haven't seen him much as off yet... he seems like a nice man but...you know... I'd like to know more about him and his thoughts about Husam and himself and what exactly does he feel for Alex? Does he think he's in the way? I don't think so but I'm not sure sometimes I feel like he's ignoring Alex a bit... I don't know if I'm thinking of it too much, sorry if I am :) lol
The twins are sooore cure and caring! But I'm sure that even Asad and Husam are caring husbands deep inside lol They are all so good for Alex! I like that he's enjoying himself a bit more and that he's starting to get less freaked out about all that's happen to him so far... and that he's slowly making peace with himself that he's gay. =)
He's so sweet! No wonder all his husbands want to watch over him
