I already figured that Lex thought the trip had something to do w/the painting. Nice chapter; Charlie is especially comforting to Michael. They haven't known each other very long and Charlie's already saying he'll always be there for Michael? I'm curious about Charlie's story; where did he come from that night he saved Michael? What is he studying for at the school?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to their trip; hope it goes well and doesn't put Michael in a great depression.

Well, this chapter had me crying! And Charlie IS a savior; he is so kind, (Zach also), to call his parents and ask them to help out a friend, who basically, he just met, what a few weeks ago? It's amazing how generous he is.

And both Charlie and Zach to be so non-judgemental about Michael and Liam. They are great kids.

I think all the kids in that class are extremely brave. I couldn't share my deepest thoughts or horrid experiences w/anyone. The poor girl Lex, was it? Yeah, I could definitely relate to her story. But it's amazing how you, the author, picture what a painting would be based on the experience of the person, and explain it in vivid detail. I actually "saw" what was painted on Lex's easel and Michael's, so kudos to you!

Michael was definitely brave and he has gone through a lot in his young life. Really good chapter.

Poor Michael; he's not starting school on a good note, huh?

So...I'm really curious: who is this "he" his family is referring to?

Wow, a really sad chapter. Poor Michael; life has been hard on him; learning to navigate his life in a hearing world, learning to communicate w/people w/o speaking; I can't imagine how hard that is.

He's lucky to have a loving family, a GREAT roommate and now Charlie, who seems to understand and support him.

Good song by Creed; I love Creed. I used to hear that song on the radio all the time.

Oh God, this Charlie seems to good to be true! lol How sweet of him to buy the book Michael wanted! And he knows sign language; how cool is that????? You know, they have a couse in ASL at our high school. Well, not MY h.s., my kids' high school! hahah Anyway, I think that's really cool; they never had that when I was growing up.

Anyway, love the chapter; can't wait to hear (sorry, see), how the conversation goes....

Sweet chapter! I can't believe that they spent FOUR hours aiming each other! lol

Oh, one typo at the end: relieved is relieved, not releaved. Other than that, great chapter!

Good third chapter! I'm glad Michael's feeling better. His parents seem so wonderful and supportive! It's such a pleasure reading a story on here where the parents actually care about their kids! lol

I can't wait to find out who saved Michael and what the letter says!
