So good! I hope he chooses Simon! I mean come on! Who doesn't want a Simon?

Yes!!!! Finally. Gawd Simon so deserved a real chance with Mark and now he's got it. This chapter really goes a long way towards Mark finally realizing that he deserves the world. Hopefully he'll eventually realize that Jason just isn't the person to do that for him; sadly I suspect you've got a world of denial and tons of fighting and arguing in store before that happens though. It's also nice to see that although Marks a bit slow on the emotional up-take and self-awareness skills, he does actualy have them. It would be truely sad if he just couldn't see it. Which makes me suspect that we're going to be seeing more of Simon's friend as an example to Mark to help him see the paralles to his on situation with Jason, and potentially with Simon.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter. *noms cookie*

Oh *god*. This chapter, oh fuck. I seriously got teary eyed. I don't think I've ever read a more *beautiful* love scene than that. I mean, it was hot, but anyone can write a hot sex scene. But it was beautiful, too. The emotions and descriptions... this chapter moved me so much. And it has me rooting so much for these boys to get their happy ending. I hope when Mark talks to Jason that... that Jason has made enough progress that he can let Mark go. That he sees that Simon is going to make Mark so much happier than he's been in a long time, and lets Mark go.

I'm kind of glad I fell ill now, since I was supposed to be on a train to my sister today. Medieval days at the old Bohus fortress (google it, it's beautiful) this weekend, and I'm going to dress myself up in a dark blue medieval dress :D doing some volunteer work so I get to come in for free. My only quandry with the chapter is that I so didn't see Mark as the type to try to drink his problems/anxieties away. It so screams that he's got bigger issues that he really needs to address and the whole Jason thing could not possibly help him in any way.

All I have to say is that Mark would be a huge fool if doens't accept Nathan's offer. Please don't have him screw that up. Mark needs something to go right in his life for him to begin to recognize the potential that he has.
