yayayayayayay! I finally got down to read this one! lol
it's been sitting on my laptop looking pretty and awaiting my attention for weeks now. I really should've read it a long time ago but in the last couple weeks my attention span as been next to zero. I just had to take a break from reading and devote myself to my PS3 like she deserved and been asking for. XD
so, on with the review...
ok, OMG, Simon and Jason r hvng dinner together?! ohohoh that's tempting the devil! oh they're so gonna get in trouble, specially with all that chemistry flying around. just wait till Mark finds out! and he will cause I can bet you just won't let this little meetings stop here, will u?
oh I loved the little angel-devil conversation going on in Simons mind, made me about crack with lol!
can't wait to see how things will unfold next. update soon hon. and sorry for the long-ish absence ;)

Oh god, I'm so scared. You've got an interesting bunch of personalities here, especially Jason who definitely doesn't fit the cookie cutter "villain" mold. As I finished chapter 23 my only thoughts were, "Oh god, what if there's a twisted Simon/Jason mindfuck incoming". I'm on the edge of my seat here! I love all your stuff, my first was Flaming, but I gotta say, this is quite a refreshing story. Such believable reactions and interactions in this story, it's fast becoming one of my favorites from you. =D Stay healthy, don't work too hard and can't wait to read more

Chapter 23

Yup! You can't hate anybody now-a-days!
Jason, while not perfect(but who is!), still deeply loved Mark!!! Stubborn, neglected Mark!

I say... tie Mark down, stick a gag in his mouth and let Jason and Simon
go at each other right next to him first and then let them have a go at Mark!!!!! HOT!!!! HA!

This last chapter was just so heartbreaking and devastating to read! OH the drama that could arise...
I can't seem to wrap my mind around the possibility that the plot was meant to follow this route. And now I'm having second thoughts about the title! Could it be Simon's two loves...or Mark's? Or am I just taking this out of proportion?

(23) Well that was unexpected, I thought that if Jason appeared again it would be random happenstance not a planned meet and initiated by Jason no less. Also interesting to see is Simon's attraction to Jason but now that we're getting to see other sides of him you start to get a better picture of him, makes me wonder what Jason is thinking about Simon. Really he could hate him for coming into his life and forcing the split between him and Mark but he seems awfully understanding. And speaking of relationships, getting info from your boyfriend's ex about all the things you should avoid so as not to cause problems seems a little like cheating to me ;) Seems Mark's insistence in keeping their lives so separate while him and Jason were together played into Jason's insecurities but who could blame him it's like Mark was prepared to walk away at anytime, how's Simon going to deal with that.

Nice chapter I liked the surprise of seeing Jason again, I'm wondering if Mark's ever going to find out about this and what his reaction is, makes me eager for another update :) I'm glad you're feeling better, infections really do suck, hope you continue to feel better ^_^

I'm just glad to hear you're on the road to recovery...being sick sucks and I'm sure you know, even when you're starting to feel better it takes quite a while before you're feeling quite right again.

Anyway, I'm kinda torn about this chapter. In some was it really hammers in yet again that Mark really does need help with his issues; I just don't know if Simon is going to be able to handle that on his own. It kinda seems like Mark might need a professional to help make it sink in with him that some of what he was taught growing up isn't quite right, or at least how he's interpreted it. I get the feeling that his parents weren't quite that "mean" just that Mark's experiences and views have led him to be a bit dysfunctional on his own. At least we get to see that Mark has at least been trying to work on some of his issues and might be more open to Simon's, if not professional, help.

Which reminds me that the Simon's issues with bottoming which stresses yet again that Simon's avoidance issues might become a problem in general.

And then there's Jason...you know, I still don't know if I like him at all. Yes, he has redeeming qualities, quite a few actually, but there's just something about him that bugs me. Although that just might be because of how many programmers/*cough* hackers, web developers, and other IT professionals that I've known over the years that is coloring my impression of Jason. There is just a certain something (an arrogance perhaps, even very if subtle) in the attitudes of those that are drawn to the IT/IS profession in general that has always bugged me.

thanks for bringing jason back into the story....i actually really liked him from the beginning even tho he messed up....i was a little upset that he disappeared for awhile....BUT now that you brought him back...can he be here to stay? i get attached to characters from the beginning so i've always liked jason and was hoping for his place somewhere too....p.s. the whole awkward simon and jason attraction is awesome XD

it's quite obvious with this chap that these two have a possibility of chemistry between each other.

and with this chapter, its more or less confirmed that Jason's pushy-ness and possesiveness branched from Mark's own tough-nut character.
And Jason's so cute too. gosh... gaaaaaawwdd...

maybe a crash - bang accident can occur, that develops opportunity for Jason and Simon to spend more time with each other.

Well, I hate to say it, but I do see some sparks there between Simon and Jason. I know that Simon would NEVER, EVER do anything like that behind Mark's back; especially with Mark's own ex. And I also know Jason wouldn't do that either, but you have to admit: they do seem attracted to each other. Hmm.

Anyway, great chapter, at least Simon doesn't hate Jason anymore. :)

And oh yeah, eating Peter Cottontail: ewwwwwww hahahha
