This story is amazing. It deals with so many issues. Poor Bryce. I feel sorry for him because he is definitely a stand in for Dean right now. I hope Landon does not take him for too much of a ride. I don't condemn Madeline. I can understand how she might have been feeling. It is certainly lucky that her younger brother was there to love and cherish the family that she left behind. I am hooked. I am off to read the Possessor. Excellent writing.

Dang! Landon was betrayed by his own mouth. Beautiful Bryce must have been so shocked. It is probably for the best since Landon definitely needs to deal with his attraction to Dean first. I hope the kiss goes well for both parties! Great job.

Interesting chapter. The drama promised is coming to pass. I'll be reading the next chapter tomorrow, or at least the full chapter since I skimmed the end- I've never minded spoilers. I look forward to reading more.

Evil Dean! He better go down on his knees and beg Landon to stay! I hope the girls guilt trip him.

What are you doing?!?. Hahaha, really, do you hate Lan that much? xDDD. I liked at 1st the idea of Landon with Dean if you resolved the replacement issues (is Dean really attracted to his brother in law, he's seeing his wife in him or is just too dependant?) but Dean's an abusive jerk, and ungrateful to boot. And let's not start about the control-issues guy!. I think the only way Dean can be redeemed is getting inside his head through a Dean's POV chapter or something to know if he really feels something for Lan 'cause he's really been an asshole who's been toying with him, and doesn't want to lose his stay at home maid. I like Lan a lot and if I were him right now, I'd be seriously thinking in going back to Wichita or something, far away from those unhealty relationships... And if he's worried about the girls, well, they seem very mature and resourcefull and the older ones totally can take care of little Ellie. They all have a huge debt with Lanny.
In case you're wondering I'm enjoying the story very much. It's interesting, plotty and perfect for these early autumn days. About the title, I only have one cheesy suggestion: "Issues of the heart".

Ooh. Awesome chapter. I liked that Landon put his foot down and decided his limits. When you said Bryce had control issues you sure went to the extreme. How on earth does he teach a class of children? I am very much looking forward to what comes next.

Great chapter. Very exciting. I was reading this at work (shame on me) and I had to laugh out loud at the picnic table insults. I guess dinner was a disaster. They all showed their worst faces. I think Landon should have known better than to invite Bryce over so soon. Plus he is giving Bryce the run around. Even if there is no future with Dean, Landon should give himself the time to get over his feelings for Dean a little before trying to start something with Bryce. Bryce should also know better than to come in as the rebound lover. Dean is doing a very poor job of controlling his jealousy. Either way, the girls certainly do not need anymore relationship drama in their lives, so I hope Landon will not run out on them.
