This is a really good story. You're a very talented writer. You needn't have worried about not being able to get inside female's heads, you did just fine. I'm excited to read more if you plan to continue this.

What ever did happen with your first two stories? Did you get bored with them? Decide you could do better? I'm excited for where this will inevitably go, but I enjoy your setups. The detail is great, and the characters very developed. Glad to see you back and writing again!

I really liked this, you have a wonderfully descriptive way of writing. Corin is a really interesting character and I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter.
