Well, I think you mixed up things somewhere 'cause the 2nd chapter has nothing to do with the 1st... ^^;;;

Good chapter, but I was confused by your A/N. You mentioned there was a mix up with the chapters, and you re-did the second chapter, but I only saw one chapter posted.

So, the mysterious owner makes an appearance. The last line makes me think Cara is more than she seems. Is it just a coincidence that Daniel also has blue eyes? I know, probably reading too much into it. Also, love that Cara is a Scottish fold. It's my favorite breed. Can't wait for the next chapter. I know the reunion is going to be sweet.

This story is so cute! I love Cara! What a cute ball of fluff! You know, in the first chapter, I was yelling at my computer screen for Alex to hurry up and buy a litter box before Cara had an accident on his bed! So, he had her a whole week, went to the pet store and DIDN'T get a litter box?????? He let her outside like a dog???? I have three cats and one dog and the cats go outside, but not to go to the bathroom. Interesting....

I know how Alex feels about returning Cara. Two years ago my son and I found a scrawny little thing outside Walmart. She came running up to us and he said we have to take her home. I said we can't take her home. So..we took her home. We made dozens of posters, but didn't have the heart to put them up! I did call the local animal welfare society and various vets, but nobody reported her missing. My vet told me she was definitely a stray; but an extremely friendly stray! We've had her ever since and she's the most friendly of all our cats. I just know if anyone had put up lost posters, we would have all been heartbroken!

Anyway, sorry to get off track! Love the story! Can't wait for the next chapter!

Though, that's because I'm pretty sure you uploaded the wrong chapter or something, cause it should go to 'A Snake Deserves no Pity,' right?

Haha. Was reading the second chapter thinking maybe it had to do with the mysterious kitten's owner. Reread it to make sure. After reading your other fic, though, realized the chapter was uploaded to the wrong fic.

Anyway...The story has definitely grabbed my attention because of the well written first chapter. The fluffy kitten might have helped, too. Can't wait to read more.
