Great chapter, with lots of fascinating detail about 'Mage politics'. If anyone can save King Tiger, it would be tough, smart, sneaky Nicky.

Neko's gonna go 'sell himself' to scar face. Gross, he doesn't feel grossed? What if he can't get it up. Then scar face is gonna... i dunno....
Mag's gonna be set into a death trap by the very govt he serves.
Neko's the only one trying to save Mags? no, i think not. I think Neko's the only one who CAN save mags.
For all we know, the med's Mags has been taking isn't helping him. it's helpign the govt.

I loved the chapter! Poor Neko! it seems he has a knack for getting in improbable situations!
I wonder what will become of these 2. I do not like the Empire! booo! Poor villagers!

I think. that was the first "BATTLE" I've read from you.
It's the first time, we see a battle through the eyes of the 'bad guys'... it was something.
Somehow, the villagers fighting with pitchforks.... remind me of "Eragon"...
