I'm so happy to see an update! Loved loved loved this chapter. Particularly the sad, emotional ending.

Poor Magnus. He needs some Neko lovin' to cheer him up.

The Empire the Empire blah blah.. grrrrrr..
It's tragic, really, what these two have and how they've come to have it. There better be some crazy a$$ payback a'happenin' to satisfy the urge for justice to be served and ego's to be crushed like so much mashed potato. T_T

When I really like the story, I try to find some music to ilustrate it. It's not easy, but I think I've found a good match. It's Serj Tankian "Empty Walls". The instrumental version goes particularly well with the format of a space opera music - like the unforgettable themes from Star Wars and Space Odyssey. Its lyrics reminds me of latents.
"Those empty walls
When we decline
From the confines of our mind (...)
I want you to be left behind those empty walls
Taught you to see from behind those empty walls",

I'v been reading yours stories for about three years now.
I've never been I-give-reviews type of person, but today I decided to give it a shot, despite the fact that my English sucks.
I thought, "Hey it's not polite to stay hidden in the bushes, enjoy all that smut, but not to express my appreciation to the writer."
So, back to the point.
I want to tell you that I LOVE you stories, because they are not the fluffy type, but still they are not awfully depressing either.
I discovered that the fluffy type of stories gets me bored insanely easy, and about the depressing ones... well routine of the life it's enough depressing.
I adore Neko-laus & Toy Tiger. From all of your stories,I like that the most. Please, continue to write ^_^
P.S. As soon as I get a credit card next month, I'll buy "That's what brothers do".
Damn, I wish it was easier and could just find it in the bookstores.

Oh, bring Nicky and Magnus back together! Empire assholes should all just go to hell!

thanks Kixx for chapter 14!!!! woot! thanks for the update! i love how this is going and i can't wait for the next update! woo~ toughie for Nicky since he's stuck in a cell with Mags on a tour to his last days. i hope Nicky's bait and hook will get Wendy to bite well and get him and Mags outta the poop hole they're in. the excitement, anticipation, oh the wonderful wait for updates to come~ xD

I love this! Wendel is exciting, and Magnus in immediate danger, and the boys separated, and Nicky wants to play Wendel? Kind of dirty considering he urged Wendel to level with him, and implied that he wanted an honest alliance. Then, he's got to use whatever he can. He knows now that he loves Magnus. I really like that we're finally there. I just don't see how Nicky can do a thing to change the Empire's plans regarding Magnus.
