yay! you updated! i've waited so long for an update to this story! and i've finally gotten two of your books at lulu as well. woot! anyways, i'm loving how this story is going. i wonder too though if the Neko's latent caretaker gets drawn into the run from the government considering tat he's gonna be outta a job either way.

It's great to read a new chapter. And what a chapter! We get a declaration of love from Nicky (finally), hot sex, and the birth of hope and a plan. And a glimpse of yummy Grim!

I can't wait to see them back with Grim (threesome?), and then to see Nicky's mother 'in person', as it were (as opposed to seeing her in Nicky's recollections). I have been hoping all along for more about his mother, as she seems like she would be a fascinating character in her own right, worthy of her own story.

Hope that you're inspired to bring us a new chapter soon.

I hope you have Nicky and Arthur turn the empire on its heels. Or at least leave it a smoldering ember.

Well! One of your best chapters. You're always good at conveying physical pain and this was especially clear. You really mapped out what Nicky experienced; I followed all the movements and sensations, which is a neat trick, since you still conveyed that the narrator was fuzzy-headed. I like Mack's development and Elway's (but still do not trust him).

It's humorous to me that Wendy does exactly what King Tiger once did. So do they train Mages to rape Latents? I imagine the "You and Your Latent" booklet, Chapter One, "Meeting Your Latent's Needs and Expectations: Rape."

Silly me; I forgot to say I love Grim coming back in; I'm sure he can help the boys; he is still my favorite charactor, and yes to him being Nicky's sexy father substitute. Another 3-way? Maybe some hot Magnus on Grim action, damn.
