(forgot my password... *grumbles*) *drools* I love em. They're sooooo cute! Mags is completely clueless and poor Nicky is getting thrown whatever which way Mags wants :p hopefully the doctors'll heal him... This is a good development though; for some reason, I'd categorised this more as fantasy then sci fi, but now I'm excited to see what they're going to be doing on this new planet!! More please!! :)

Oh! poor Neko!
And I am guessing 'no means'no, was not an easy lesson to learn to our dear and spoiled King Tiger! LOL.
I loved the chapter.

I love the space sickness-- and Magnus letting it go too far because he hoped it might help him tame Nicky. But I hate Nicky panicking like that, and clinging to Magnus. I'd like to see him peel himself off Magnus in the next chap, and fight his own battle...because that's just what always draws me to Nicky! On the other hand, how can he be endlessly strong? Just I hate to see him so low.
I love his closet solution. It actually seems half-sensible given that he's working with almost no resources. He controls and uses whatever he can, which is impressive, even if it looks simple-minded to others. I hope he gets his room. I suspect he'd be satisfied in the barracks. How much room and privacy did he ever have in the Shambles, anyway? Crazy that he probably needs very little of either-- but still he doesn't get enough now that he's supposedly moved up in the world.
I'm intrigued by other latents and hopes he meets them.
Magnus should take cues from his "mate" if he insists on calling him that. Calling something by a name doesn't make it so; even in magic, doesn't the name have to be true for it to work? Somebody fetch the marvelous mage-boy a dictionary. Then beat him with it.
You know Magnus wouldn't get to me so much if he weren't such a good character. But he'll be a total ass if Nicky's sharp tongue and wits stay out of commission for long. You've made that much clear! That is, your Nicky has. He's a wonderful narrator.
I can tell this chap was hard for you. The writing is sketchy, the sentences have a scratched-in structure. Yet that's a good tactic. You've pushed the action and plot forward which is the success that matters. You can make the pretty happen later. We read for your plot and action, too. (But yes, you know us, we readers do like the dirty, dirty sex. However did you figure that out?).

Aaawwwwww =(
poor Neko! Magnus should really take better care of his kitty-kat!
it's really sad seeing such a strong and feisty character fall into such a fragile state.
Magnus, if you don't man up and give Neko the respect and care he deserves I'm gonna steal him from you! >=(
and those damn MI cientists, Magnus should just erase them from the face of the earth for torturing poor Nicky!
I hope everything will be better soon... and what the heck are they doing out in space anyway?
About your question in the A.N. well... I want the drama, the atitude and a whole lot of smexing!!! I'm greedy I know! lol
update soon! ^^

Fabulous new venture Miss kiix.
Interesting factoid: You don't lose most of your heat through your head. The myth arose from a poorly conducted experiment where soldiers were dressed in thermals and exposed to Arctic conditions; but they weren't given hats. Unsurprisingly, they lost most of their heat through their heads.
