Enjoyed it? Definitely.
As to rewriting a chapter so many times you're unsure of the content: no worries, it came out fine. Plus, at least you're capable of rewriting! It's one of the most difficult things for me. I have a hard time letting go of things I've written, so I spend a looooong time writing first drafts.
Anyway, I agree with you about the whole review response in forum thing. It makes sense for those people who spend pages answering reviews each chapter, but I'll admit that I probably wouldn't go to the forum to read a review response (and I have a forum acct!...which I never use, haha).

There's something so amusing and entertaining about guys like Jaycen--the type of guys who just naturally flirt. It's like they can't function without the charm. There's something about those guys...even if the charm doesn't work romantically, it just puts everyone at ease. You can't fight that kind of confidence and ease. I hope Ash stops trying to fight it soon. If you do have to move author's notes to the forum, please give a warning, so I know to try to figure it out. :) Keep the updates coming.

I think I've written more reviews for you in the past...day-ish than I have in total for...weeks, at least. When I got to the end of chapter one and read 'Brier Wood' as the computer was shuffling forward to chapter two I started thinking and the second I started reading it I was like "Is it Jaycen? Is it going to be Jaycen?" haha Can't wait for more of this one (too). ;P

Oh MY GOD! How in heck did I miss that this was Jaycen's story and sequel to your previous story! I read the first chapter last week and I was totally intrigued but I had no idea that Davi, Jaycen, Fallon were back! I am so happy! Oh my god, I am so intrigued. I mean play boy Jaycen with scared weary Ash?!? I love it. And I am sure when her scary ex makes his face known again, Jaycen and Fallon will be very protective after all they had to deal with what Davi went through I don't think they will be easy on this guy. Oh oh oh I am so excited. I can't believe you are back! This is lovely. I love your idea. I can't wait to read more!
P.S. I love this new care free Davi, love has done wonders to her huh?

So excited for the update. I loved how Jaycen was speechless and how he wants to avoid angering Davi. I am interested in seeing how Ash will react to being around real men instead of jackasses that slap women around. And she will definitely be able to see real men at Brier Wood. Thanks
